I don't know how to take this but it's my opinion that masculinity is under attack. They us feminized.

Well, get offended, of course! Asking men to be good fathers and provide a good example... Well, that's downright offensive!

Now imagine two men sitting around saying, "Just be better women, do the dishes, do the laundry and just be better women."

LOL! I can't imagine why you would use examples of such trivial and mindless tasks as doing dishes and laundry to equate to being a better parent and setting a good example for your children, which is what Michelle said... Would you be offended if she (or anyone) suggested that women should be better mothers? I know I wouldn't. I would agree... But then, I can take it.

If you just can't handle people being told to improve themselves, you should probably find a space where you won't have to hear such nonsense.

I think the particularly offensive aspect is the implication that men don't take care of their children. She's an idiot. Careful who you hang out with.

Also, it's kind of funny. "dishes and laundry". The thing is, yes men are expected to (and do) help out with these things that for many years were called "womens work". But I can tell you, I have yet to see my wife (or any others) push the lawn mower, take out the trash, or get under the car to fix or maintain the vehicle. Women have equality options to pick and choose.

She is a disgusting woman.

She hates whites, men and anyone that doesn't look at the world through her distorted view. I can't wait for her and her oblivious husband to be gone.

Personally, I think women need to be better too. Women have set the standard that you don't have to be committed anymore and can do whatever you want in marriage. When women act that way, men follow suit. I mean, why should they be loyal when there are tons of other women out there willing to pounce? It's a vicious cycle.

Someone once told me "You always treat the person you were with how the last person treated you without knowing it" and so I am always conscious of that (usually).

How would you feel if I got on stage as the president and told women to be better to their husbands?

That would sound so Imanish.

Don't they actually say that?

She must've been referring to black men.

Ya'll are a bunch of haters.

I love Michelle Obama's message here. It's all positive and self empowering and the general message can apply to all people, of all colors, of all sexes, and etc.

What I am beginning to understand here at ATS is that... ya'll are basically the haters.

I made it exactly ten seconds into the video before I stopped it.

I did see Manchelle. She's living out her last moments of forced relevance in this world. Will be so glad when the 0bamas leave the White House ... and take their mom (LOL) with them.

Are you really gonna start with the name calling? Do you want me to tell you what I really think about you, and make you cry?

Do I want you to tell me what you really think about me and make me cry? LOL.

If I have hurt your feelings in the past, just know that it was not intentional. In fact, I don't think I've ever spoken to you prior to now. And no, I do not want you to make me cry. I hope you feel better soon.

She is not living in reality. Her opinion here is as valuable as her opinion on school lunches. You're always better off keeping your mouth shut and let them think your stupid, than opening your mouth and letting them KNOW your dumb...not too mention gender bigotry her kinds hot phrase of the year.

Be a better man.

Earn enough so your wife can stay at home if she wants.
Worship your wife.
Discipline your children.
Be a part of your children's education and life.
Work hard.
Love hard.
Live hard.

Adding one to the list
And leave other people alone to where they can do the same

Thats a Guy, and he probably has a larger member then half of the guys in here. Barack is gay. What the hell would he be doing with a female? Gay men dont like to have sex with females and may not even be able too. I have a few gay buddies, and they say Barack is gay too. When I questioned them if they would have sex with a woman One said " Ewwwwwww, thats disgusting, That big old thing looking me in the face, Yuck". My reply was that I happend to think that a womans vagina was beautiful, and that a man has no vagina. His reply was "Oh yes he does"............ So maybe Michelle does have a VG, but it has a dual purpose, and smells like poop. No hate here just likely true. No Hateraid, nor Kool Ade.

Worth repeating.
I'm a mom, and I think I have an awesome son, he's in his thirties now, but I know I could've been better.
Every parent, regardless of how good a parent they think they are, should still be better. It's parenting ffs, being better should always be something to aim for.

Even if you only have puppies, be better!
