Such a weird tirade by Michelle Obama against men. I don't know how to take this but it's my opinion that masculinity is under attack. They us feminized. Remember we are exactly the same.

"Be better at everything. Be better fathers, good lord. Just being good fathers who love your daughters, and are providing a solid example of what it means to be a good man in the world and showing them what it feels like to be loved. That is the greatest gift that the men in my life gave to me."

Now imagine two men sitting around saying, "Just be better women, do the dishes, do the laundry and just be better women."

"When you are sitting at a seat of power, at a table of any kind, and you look around and you just see you — it's just you and a bunch of men around a table, on a golf course making deals, and you allow that to happen, and you're OK with that — be better."

I just don't know what to say the SJW very far left ideology is taking total control of the mainstream narrative. Not good.

People who are this out of touch with reality and with the world should not have such a loud voice

Michael Obama 'Men Should Be Better' is really code for 'Men Should be Women'.

btw Doing the Dishes or Doing the laundry isn't exactly 'Womens Work' just for the record.

Everyone needs clean clothes, everyone needs clean dishes. Men aren't stupid they can do those things.

Isn't that what her husband does every day?

Why is she lecturing the rest of us?

Be a better woman. Keep your own home clean.

Wow, Michelle should climb down from her ivory tower and walk a mile in a real mans boots. She is so far around the bend she can't even see reality.

Well, get offended, of course! Asking men to be good fathers and provide a good example... Well, that's downright offensive!

Now imagine two men sitting around saying, "Just be better women, do the dishes, do the laundry and just be better women."

LOL! I can't imagine why you would use examples of such trivial and mindless tasks as doing dishes and laundry to equate to being a better parent and setting a good example for your children, which is what Michelle said... Would you be offended if she (or anyone) suggested that women should be better mothers? I know I wouldn't. I would agree... But then, I can take it.

If you just can't handle people being told to improve themselves, you should probably find a space where you won't have to hear such nonsense.

Well she has to say something. What secret societies, army staff and corporate oligarchs aren't primarily men owned and operated?

Be a better man… lol

I'm guessing the consensus is that women shouldn't talk about men unless it's to praise them?

How would you feel if I got on stage as the president and told women to be better to their husbands?

A fair comparison would be to tell women to be better mothers. And haven't you been whining for months about you want to be able to say whatever, wherever and wherever you choose? Need a safe space snowflake?

Be a better man.

Earn enough so your wife can stay at home if she wants.
Worship your wife.
Discipline your children.
Be a part of your children's education and life.
Work hard.
Love hard.
Live hard.

Men and women need to do better when it comes to parenting. The kids born after 1995 are a bunch of sociopaths and amateur porn stars.

That being said...the misogyny in this thread is embarrassing.

ATS is just a sounding board for some vile people. Racists, bigots, and misogynists everywhere

Haha!

I disagree with the rest of your post. However the level of conversation has declined.

There is a bigger conspiracy to feminize men and destroy the hero archetype in men. I've been talking about it and providing evidence for months now over the course of multiple threads.

personally I wish Muslims would be better human beings. You know stop killing people stop blowing up markets, stop oppressing women, stop murdering gay people. But what are you going to do?
