maybe Omar had a self death-wish for harboring un-Muslim tendencies & longings...& the PULSE was his rubicon/waterloo/golgotha

The thing that gets me is before these guys go off the rails they give off clear warning signs. Rogers posted numerous youtube videos warning about what he intended to do. He also wrote a small autobiographical book. In the case of James Holmes (the Aurora Batman shooter - 72 dead) he went to his campus shrink several months before the shooting spree. He told her what was in his mind, and brought his dairies and journals with him. He was loosing control and wanted some one to stop him. Shrink told him to run along (he spend the rest of his life in jail, she`s still practicing medicine and going to cocktail parties).

You could probably go on Twitter or facebook now and with a careful search find a dozen or so potential loose cannons ready to go off. With the right intervention or help everyone might come out ahead (including the potential shooters). Could it have been prevented? For some reason people turn a blind eye.
