I am not downplaying car accidents when I say this but the rate of Massacres has severely risen in the past 10 years compared to car accidents.

We are talking about reality, where there is no political will, or popular support for a total ban on firearms.

There is no way to know who has guns and who doesn't.

Otherwise decent people, often own guns that are not-registered with anyone.

There is no force on earth large enough (or coordinated enough) to collect them door to door, by force, if necessary.

What you are doing is railing against a force of nature.

Nothing short of God and the Angels can do what you really wish we'd do about "guns."

I can say with ALL Certainty of the 300 million plus firearms in the US.

Over 299million plus didn't get up all on their own, and walked anywhere, and shot anyone.

There are so many well done studies from around the world that shows gun control doesn't actually change anything. People are just murdered in different ways at the same rates. Countries with extremely hardcore gun control are over run with violence, gun crimes, and terrorism (surprise surprise, when you take power away from the people... they lose)

Because banning guns doesn't make murderers and psychopaths magically disappear. It doesn't make hate go away. It doesn't make you safer in your safe spaces. It doesn't address the underlying cause of irrational violence, it doesn't even put a bandaid on it. What it does do though, is keep law abiding citizens from exercising their 2nd amendment right. Those people that wouldn't hurt a fly, but would rather protect it against an aggressor, those the ones that are mostly effected.

But the left will continue to attack guns because they don't know any better and are nearly brain washed into ignoring facts because sometimes the truth hurts feelings.

Every single person on this board cares that bad people corral the innocent and helpless and slaughter them.

What we won't stand for is emotional appeals to a fake reality where some magical politicians will "fix" the problem with more laws that do nothing.

The only ignorance in the entire topic is coming from the people who believe in magic, and use emotion to convey their disgust for others who can back up their argument with reality.

Who said anything about what I want to do about guns? I was reporting facts. From the same source the OP used. This thread is misleading, in that it implies that firearms don't reality murder that many people, when in reality they are used in the murder of most Americans. Don't let the facts get in the way of your opinion of me though.
