Based upon this YouTubers video history, I'm going with fake cgi.

Based on actually watching it, I'd go with helicopter or private plane in the distance haze over the ocean... if cgi, then the dullest fake UFO footage E V E R.

Based on the stillness of the camera not zooming onto the object, and excellent sound of waves crashing onto the shore, I am going to say a nice try on creating a UFO sighting ploy...aka Fake!

It's not that important.. what is, really? But wtf you mean?

Looks like a cam stationed overlooking the ocean and a flashing light shows up, far away... the flashing (rotating or strobing) light gradually moves higher and disappears off camera with no strange movement or speed... just a flashing light.

I'm puzzled by the two hoax claims so far... isn't it far more likely a misidentified plane seen in hours of cam footage?

Am I watching the correct video?

Uninteresting Flying Object.

It could be so many things. The slow blink reminded me of the navigation lights. A helicopter perhaps?

Cool... Aliens that can traverse the universe, and should have tech that can study the Earth from Pluto, show up on Earth and leave a light trail. Oh wait, no aliens were specifically specified so I am prick debunker or whatever...

I was gonna go was a helo SAR exercise. The performance was in the range of a Sikorsky S‑92.
The only thing that bothered me was that the frequency of the supposed nav light is very long.
Possible it could have been a rotating searchlight....

SAR approach and decent charts.

It's really to far away to make a real assumption on what it is... I'll say helicopter for the sake of it.

I have no idea what it is, and there isn't enough footage for me to confirm it was what I saw, and commented on here at ATS. I really was hoping it would.

I don't have a smart phone. I have a cheap, send and receive phone, so I had no way of getting a picture of it, and even if I had, by the time I had the where with all, to think about getting a picture, it would have looked just like this one.

I have never seen anything quite like it. The closest thing I can think of is a hydrofoil plane, but it was flat and square. It had weird lights on the back that seemed to pulsate. They were not strobes. It had that same up and down gliding movement, but it was over a huge field of Saw-grass out in rural Florida, not over the ocean.
