Night Songs
Droning from the Boneyard heat,

Night Songs
Lyrical on a gossamer sheet,

Night Songs
Flown on the backs of Raven's wings,

Night Songs
Feeling the way the Boneyard sings,

Those Night Songs
The Boneyard sings those

Night Songs
Fleeing stars across a blue-black plane,

Night Songs
The easiest way to sing again,

Night Songs
Among the yellow dripping moon,

Night Songs
We seem to sing them all too soon,

Those Night Songs
The Boneyard sings those

Night Songs
Pale and blue for a midnight picnicking,

Night Songs
In the black so thick and sickening,

Night Songs
Of love and revelry,

Night Songs
Oppressive with a stare so heavenly,

So we sing those Night Songs
In the Boneyard's lungs.

Late, when all are sleeping sound
We sing our Night Songs.

Howling at the evanescent moon
And singing Night Songs.

Greatly written! Perhaps obvious due to the many references to singing and songs(duh right?), but it sounds much like a song, though I an unable to say to which sort. I can hear it so clearly though. Good job.

Thank you! It certainly has a lyrical quality to it. I heard the Nightingale singing and thought, night songs. I somehow ended up in a boneyard though...

It is definitely interesting. I imagine you ended in the boneyard to the night and the night being dark. Of course I could be entirely wrong. Regardless it is a great read.

I think that's the fun thing about writing though. Particularly in sharing ones own writing with others . It's that everyone interprets it differently.

I always say, there is little point in writing anything unless you share. 😋

Wow, what a really cool, interesting and duplicity of understanding. I like it, I really like it. Nice Job!
