The Christian Bible says Gay men should be killed, so does the Koran. I'm against all religions personally and mostly because I'm against killing someone who isn't hurting me or others. I'm also anti slavery so Jewdeism, Christianity, and Islam are out. P.s. Leviticus in the Bible= God wants Gays dead. Thumbs down God

He should be allowed to speak his ugly beliefs, so that we may rip them to shreds with disputation and argument, right in the face of his followers. There is a reason Imams and Islamic leaders don't take part in debates.

A lot of Christian pastors say that God is punishing sinners when certain people are killed, or die from disease. That won't change, ever.

K. We would be saying the same thing if Christians were running around the world murdering, raping, and being at the center of almost every single conflict.

How many people went out and murdered gays because of this speech? My guess is none.

The guy should face the same punishment, encouraging people to murder isn't free speech. You're a woman right? How's Islam treating you? It's bizarre feminists and the left defend a religion that would silence them completely and give them a gang rape + stoning as punishment.

Then the people at fox news should also be guilty of Giffords shooting.

Especially Palin for putting the cross hairs over Gifford's district.

No you wouldn't because Christians get a free pass when it comes to terrorism. FBI studies show Christian commit more acts of terrorism than Muslims but we never hear about it do we?

Because you're FOS.

Prove me wrong.

Don't you just love right wing neocons that cling to their guns, and religion?

WHAT ?

Not the right winger you normally whine about ?

Yeah real world events like Orlando tell us ALL the real deal.

Did you know that up until the recent past Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq and Syria were secular, that Muslims and Christians co-existed? What happened? The US and Russia faced an energy crisis, Russia went about invading and we went about arming "resistance". After that when dictators arose if they played nice with US, gave us access to cheap oil or pipe lines they were okay but if they decided to play with Russia they were evil and had to be stopped which of course became our job in the world.

The only problem with removing dictators is that it creates a vacuum of power, it destabilizes, causes resources like food and water to become scarce... not to mention it's pretty easy to hate people bombing you especially when you lack the ability to look at the roots, the whole picture (we don't have that excuse, we're just too damn lazy or apathetic), extreme circumstances gives birth to extremism... opportunists prey on that hate and start recruiting a power base that becomes a terror network. The US MIC and Terrorism have become symbiotic, feeding each other from different sources of hatred.

Any who I've rambled a bit and left out other relevant stuff but I hope I've left some food for thought, something you'll actually explore rather than just shrug.

Exactly..... we as Westerners with access to so much free information can actually seek out and determine the root of the problem. We could hold the U.S. government accountable if we truly wanted to. But people won't, because of laziness and apathy but also cowardice.

Most of the local Middle-Eastern insurgents don't have that luxury of information and perspective. They're only reacting in an entirely predictable, and dare I say it, justified way. I can't possibly say I wouldn't do the same in their shoes.

It's no different than viciousness in dogs. If you beat the dog, chain it up, and starve it, it's going to become vicious. Because of what's been done to the Middle-East in our name, it's become an environment that incubates viciousness in humans; then people act surprised when some of them turn around and bite.

Of course, this doesn't apply so neatly to guys like this Imam and the Orlando shooter who live in the United States; but then again, their ideology is still a product of the same environment.

yes lets talk about their rights to free speech, as they use that speech as a rallying cry that actually results in real deaths. We're at WAR, liberal, get it through your head.

Agreed. Now, how many conservatives said we were at war with Christianity when that guy shot up a Planned Parenthood a few months ago?

When people call for the deaths of lgbt people do you ever think of the numbers this will affect?
According to wicki the population of the USA is 350 mill and change.
11% identify as some form of lgbt.
Allow 2 parents
Add a sibling for half of them.

The number of people (direct victims and people who love them) now equals approx 157855500

That's almost half the population and I haven't even counted children of lgbt people, or straight partners or close friends.

So effectively you have some people who want to kill and do devastating emotional harm to almost half your population.

That friends, is fighting talk in my book.
And yes, it was a fairly rough, done in my head calculation using wicki figures for populations and percentages of lgbt per capita, but they broadly stand up.

I know and it's not hard for a non-Christian like myself to say... so why is it so hard for people to say that the Imam in the OP isn't truly Muslim?

I agree but as I am not Muslim myself, I don't feel I have the credentials to say such things with authority.

I don't agree with what these guys propose and/or say, however we, as Americans who believe in the United States Constitution, should respect their right to speak freely as guaranteed by the First Amendment.

That isn't free speech, that's death threats.

Humm, the murderer was not only Muslim he was also a registered democrat... Of course, snopes had to come out with their propaganda piece and claim that he was a registered democrat since 2006, but that no one knows what his political affiliation was at the time of the murders...

Muslims tend to be democrats for one simple reason. Islam itself is embroidered in socialism, but socialism with extreme religious undertones.

www.snopes.com...

Snopes and their constant propaganda bs... He was a democrat because Muslims all around the world tend to lean to the left, but mixed with extreme religious undertones.

Sitting back watching this play out, motives discovered, people questioned about their possible involvement, there are those who see these Gays as a threat to all they have been raised to believe is moral. They just haven't spoken up in public yet. It is far from exclusive sympathy for the people killed at this club. Many people are extremely anti gay, that's no secret.

You will see people come forward with far different opinions, some expressing it was not a bad thing they were eliminated/killed.

Before you chastise me and throw accusations, I'm simply saying what you will likely find manifesting in coming days. In a couple weeks we will be back fighting over who will be president Donald or Hillary, and this incident will be packed safely away. It is something to consider. Not all the headlines will stand.

California Baptist Pastor: the tragedy is more didn't die

Haters gonna hate.

I'm all for free speech, but calling for/celebrating murder/death is a bit of a stretch. Because then some nutter feels empowered to actually act on it. Planned Parenthood Shooting

Maybe instead of the government intervening with hate mongering public speakers, we should just have more vigilante groups exposing these asshats for what they are.
