I guess they are locking her up to keep her safe from those who feel that it is their inexplicable right to have their way with her?

Or maybe they are keeping the men safe as when they see a woman they simply can't help themselves from reverting to a state which is similar to that of a caveman.

I don't feel I could be in the same room as someone who follows these views held by the rapists, nor would I want them to have dealings with my government, nor would I want them to come to my country.

Read the article. In that part of the world, the woman has to accept marriage from the rapist to be pardoned from her sentence. But you knew this being from the UAE right?

I don't need to know you to judge you on your response. I never intend to know you with your "objective" views

Oh and the reason other people go over there is for money. That's all. No interest in the culture, the people, nothing other than money. "Westerners" like to enjoy themselves without the possibility of being killed for seeking out basic pleasures (drinking, kissing). All your responses are that of angry muslims you see in Britain.

your hate will consume you from within.

If you look at my post history you will see I also call out the unjustified invasions and theft of resources and phony justifications for war in the Middle East. But I will still call out a legal system that blames the victim and lets the perpetrator off, whilst the same system does not judge their own and speak out against the atrocities committed "in the name of Allah" and Jihad.

I note you only take the male perspective and blame the woman - what a surprise - of course you do because you forget the man who raped her and then dumpted her didn't have permission to do so - but that of course would not be a crime would it? It6s a man's right to rape isn't it and them blame the woman. Wake up to 2016 because its the year you live in and women earned our respect and their right to freedom a very long time ago.

so you just believe her because she is Dutch and she is in an Arab country ? oh yeah i know where this is going

oh yes shes a poor person that was raped just because she said so, oh and of course you want to believe her because shes in an Arab Muslim country don't you love it , what an opportunity.

apparently she was in some bar or a club and after dancing what happens ?

"She went dancing but when she returned to the table after the first sip of her drink, she realized that someone had added something to her glass,"

yes someone added something to her drink and she continued to drink until she didn't know what she was doing and got raped , what a nice story for a movie

so she gets drunk , thinks that she is with a nice guy to spend the night with , goes to his apartment or a hotel room and enjoys the night and after waking up guess what let me call the police to get more money , or was she unconscious and the guy carried her in front of the people and took her to his room, no it doesn't work this way you have to prove it otherwise every woman will charge someone with rape.

Yeah I don't think people,a re just going around believing her simply because she's was Dutch in an Arab/Muslim country. Far from it.

Whether she was drunk or not, doesn't mean she asked to be raped.

As I've said many times before, it's just a matter of mitigating risk. She knew the risks and took them anyway. He knew the risks and took them anyway. If either party decided the risk is to great we wouldn't be here in the first place.

Yes, these things shouldn't happen and it's terrible that they do, so if you're a person on planet earth you know that these things happen, why do you not mitigate risk?

Well I am Dutch and in our MSM there is no mention of her lying about her vacation.
She was on a holiday in France for a wedding and extended her vacation to go to Qatar. She contacted her employer (yes she has a normal job here) to ask if she could stay away longer and it was approved.

Why she went there and with whom I don't know.
Her story is that she noticed her drink being spiked and next thing she woke up with her clothes torn. Knowing she was raped.

Being Dutch and so young (22), of course she went to the police. Something an escort wouldn't do I believe.

This is why if you go to a middle eastern country if you get raped you leave and dont report it because to them you are not even a person if you are not one of them. but they will toss you in jail for propaganda and blackmail.

UPDATE:

Woman Convicted BBC

So yeah she's been convicted

The 22-year-old was handed a suspended sentence and fined $824 (£580). She will also be deported.

Though the guy didn't get off scot free at least

Her alleged attacker, who said the sex was consensual, was sentenced to 100 lashes for having sex outside marriage. He will be given a further 40 lashes for consuming alcohol.

Notice however his charges are for adultery and drinking. No mention of rape. No mention of drugging. No mention of kidnapping. His word valued over her's. Having a crime committed upon you and having to pay a fine and leave the country...

Roll on world cup!
