If you are in the Orlando area and want to help, they are looking for O+, O- and AB plasma donors.

My family and I are flying in to Orlando tomorrow morning. I will have to look in to donating.

Did you happen to see what facilities are in need?

You can generally go to any blood bank affiliated facility and indicate that you are donating for a particular cause. At least that is how it works in my area.

I may have disagreed with you in numerous posts in the past, but my hat is off to you for stepping up in a time a need.

This is the kind of thing that tragedy should bring out in people rather than having a situation used to advance a political track.

In case you haven't been paying attention, radical Islamic terrorism has been a political issue for a long time.

He was a citizen....what does that have to do with refugees?

CNN correspondent just said something like, "Rest assured law enforcement will be scrubbing his social media presence."
That's an unfortunate misuse of the word and will launch a thousand "false flag" threads.

I'm pretty sure his parents are from Afghanistan.

However let's pretend that the connection doesn't exist so our hearts can bleed out.

Are you going to perpetuate "it" and make this a purely political screed as well?

Apprently he's a Kanye West fan, can we blame Kanye too?

I didn't blame anyone.

Can you at least deal with reality if you're going to desperately try to pointlessly nit-pick?

We donate blood often at the local clinic in our hometown.

Tomorrow we begin our family vacation and it begins in Orlando. It's the least we could do.

And of course you miss the point. His parents were from there, which also has nothing to do with Syria. Why would we blame refugees for an attack that was caused by a citizen?

Oh no, there's no connection between that part of the world and radical Islam.

Nope, none.

Curiously (to me) I wonder if Ft. Pierce, Florida is a (small scale) breeding ground for terrorists?

Of course it COULD be merely a coincidence!

From 2014:

The young American suicide bomber who last weekend blew up an explosives-laden truck halfway across the world in Syria made his home in Florida, law enforcement officials said Friday. Records indicate the man played high school basketball in Vero Beach and lived at some point in Fort Pierce. Read more here: www.miamiherald.com...=cpy

Because Onequestion is our resident mascot for xenophobia, pay it not heed.

The dad just released a statement that his sone saw two men kissing in Orlando in public 2 months ago and he think it triggered an anger.
I'll try find a link.

Florida is just a destination for the entire world. It's very very heavily populated with Immigrants. Mostly Islanders though who have a happy carefree culture.

Of course not, we're just going to ignore the elephant in the room and keep digging until we find an excuse that is considered more PC.

Yeah I'm in Okeechobee, they just said on our news he was from Port St. Lucy. At first they made it sound like he had come from further away. That's not far at all really
