I was wondering as to what everyones political stance, favoured party and most important issues were.
I don't want this thread to turn into a Labour/Conservative/Liberal bashing thread, just a thread for people in the UK to post they political stances, not debate the flaws/problems with each others parties.

Centre-Right

Favoured Political Party:
Conservative Party

Three Main Issues (In no order):

Political Stance:
Spread al over the place depending on issue; right wing on freedom of the individual things, such as id cards, yet liberal on equality and immigration etc.

Favoured Party:
None at the moment. Labour and conservatives might as well amalgamate into one party they're so identical, yet I'm not red enough to be a liberal, even though i support their no id card policy.

Major issues:
ID Cardsand the cutbacks on individual freedoms such as detention without trial. ( and the vastly overdone fear of terrorism stuff being cited as the reason) (
The Big Brother state
)

Defence Cuts (The lack of the Uk being in a position to be a force for Justice and whats Right in the world.)

Police/crime/anti-social behaviour etc. ( the amount of yob culture and gang culture and just plain scum thats around, and the lack of polic, due to thefact they're all 'defending' central London from terrorists.

------------------------------------------------------
Other stuff:
of equal importance to the above:
The rubbish Ulster peace process ( so the IRA are going to destroy their weapons, ut don't have to provide any form of proof
) NO to Sinn Fein, we shouldn't negotiate with terrorists. Ulster is part of the UK, and should remain so.

Other irritants:
Education ( Bullsh*t interactive whiteboard computerised classroom stuff:mad
as well as specialist schools and stuff.
Health (lack of dentists, waiting lists, badly managed NHS etc)
Cr*p budgeting ( increased borrowing etc., huge council tacks hikes ( i have a labour council that might as well just roll the borough budget into spliff and smoke it away!)

Political Stance:
Centralist (although it does depend on the issue)

Favoured Political Party:
None,

It was the Conservative Party but I've stopped supporting them for two reasons:

1. I've got fed up of defending their current policy here on P@ATS, some of their policy is good but most of their policy is just old policy with a new name.

2. Watching the politics show at the weekend, Michael Howard was asked whether his Party needed to reform their image as they still seem linked with the bad aspects of their past, he then said no that they didn't need to, dammit Mr Howard get off your arse and let someone who does want reform lead the damn party.

Three Main Issues (In no order):
Same as before (in no order):

Law and Order
Immigration
Europe

note: hopefully you'll see my political ideals more clearly now I'm going be defending my policy and idealogy ideas rather than defending a political party.
Political rebirth here I come

Political Stance
To Left wing for my own good, TBH.
Favoured Party
There isn't a True Communist one. So, i'd vote probably Lib Dem, as they seem to be the most left of the main 3 ATM.
Main Issues In no order...
Europe
War
Equality

Immigration is so overblown by the right its a joke, now. Howard has nearly gone Facistic on that issue now. He also cahnges his policiy every few days.
