It looks like Trump might not be a tactical genius:

Donald Trump announced a couple of weeks ago that he intends to target and win the state of California and its 55 electoral votes in November.

Because it is terrible strategy, not only for a Republican presidential candidate but also for a guy who wants to keep his campaign operations relatively lean and not spend a ton of money. California is too big, too blue, and the state’s Republican Party has all the heft and impact of a Whiffle ball. The state hasn’t voted for a Republican for president since George H.W. Bush in 1988.

So Trump is going to waste his time and resources? Does he really expect to accomplish anything?

It appears Trump may have a hidden agenda:

Jonathan Chait had a short blog post on Thursday writing Trump’s strategy off as being of a piece with the rest of Trump’s campaign – scattershot and impulsive, lacking any real strategic vision. On Twitter, Benjy Sarlin of MSNBC speculated that Trump will spend time in California in an effort to bait hardcore protestors into doing something dumb in front of the television cameras, much like the unrest that hit one of his rallies in San Jose last week and the state’s Republican convention in Anaheim in May.

I wonder if Hillary will take advantage of the situation and deploy counter measures?

Granted a lot of Republicans have left California for 'anywhere else', yet percentile of votes to the Republicans is still pretty high.

It seems a stretch to me, a Trump supporter, that he can win Ca..

Perhaps he knows that it's all-in time and is merely 'going for it'. From the beginning people have underestimated him and the resonance he engenders.

You say what Trump is doing is insane? I say what this country is doing to itself is INSANE.

Go for it Donald....

So because some guy stated a conspiracy theory on MSNBC about Trump campaigning in CA to get his supporters ATTACKED, you post it as truth?

Do you even think for yourself?

Trumps campaign manager has a Masters in Political Science and has worked for master puppeteers like the Koch brothers Im sure theres some method to the madness

Not at all. Trump knows that even in states he is unlikely to win, there are people who deserve to be served. That's what actual leaders do.

And California can actually be in play. Many Counties here lean Right or Independent Right. It's not like we're just Los Angeles and San Francisco

I guess some anti Trump guy selling his conspiracy theory about Trump, on MSNBC mind you, passes for News.

Who would have thought...

It's like Donald doesn't wanna be the president or something, amirite? Well, either he is a Clinton plant or a complete fool. I could go either way.

Wait, so you it's funny when Trump incites violence? But I thought BLM and anti Trump protesters were thugs for their violence?

So funny when Trump incites it, tragic when anti Trump supporters commit it?

Gotcha.

No, there's no method and I do believe that same campaign manager said Trump doesn't listen to him as he does what he wants. So there is a plan but if it's out of left field it's definitely Trump's plan and not the seasoned campaigner.

My LOL was directed at the general idea of the article, not at the people.

It wont matter once Hillary is cuffed, lead away with a blanket over her head, put into a waiting car, and taken into custody for crimes committed by her.

No, because that's not all as it comes off but regardless, your attitude is quite different when it's anti Trump protesters committing violence.

But that all said, obviously this wouldn't be the first time Trump incited violence and won't be the last if he goes threw with this Cali plan. Imagine if Hell froze over and he won the election how much violence there would be on that day and that days to come? He'd love every minute of it as he fully supporters Martial Law.

Hey, you voting for this guy?

Liberals typically get their opinions from places like NBC

Simply part of the reason why they are so quick to get violent over someone else's opinions
