It was a very sweet and touching thing you did and reflects your heartfelt grief. I've been owned by many cats in my lifetime and have written many
poems and short stories myself. I share your and anyone's grief who has lost their sweet kitty babies, or pooches. It hurts us to the core. You might
think about writing down all the funny or poignant stories you can about them, as I'm sure you have some.
I'll never understand why cats have such short lifespans and why especially they seem not to have ways of letting us know how sick they are until
many times it's too late. I've read about people having a place (and obviously the money!) in China clone their pets even though it's actually
"illegal*! Must be nice....
I dread the time coming when my Sweety has to leave me...he's about 9. I was there cheering his mother on when he was born and have loved every minute
he's been with me and the comfort he has given me in stressful times. I could go on and on, but don't want to bore you! I just wanted to let you know
another person out here shares your grief.
a reply to: mamabeth What a sweet poem for your dear fur babies. My condolences on your loss.
Our pets are truly a blessing and I believe they wait for you on the other side... May the joy they brought you in this life, remain forever in your
heart until you meet again.
