I loved both of these speeches.

Warren (aside from giving Trump a gullet-full of his own name-calling medicine), made the excellent point that Donald is just a puppet whose strings will be pulled by the party elite. They know it and he knows it and is willing to play along, to hold the position. And that has already started. She also gives a pretty good impression of Mitch McConnell.

This is as close as I have found to her full speech:

Biden's best and most revealing point was about Donald threatening to come back in November (as the president) to bring a civil lawsuit against federal Judge Curiel for obeying the law in the Trump U case. Clearly, Donald either doesn't know about separation of powers in government, the sanctity of the branches of our government - or he doesn't care. I imagine both are true, though he's probably getting an education from the previously mentioned puppet masters as we speak.

Here's Biden's speech:

I wonder if Biden stopped in at a 7/11 for coffee before his speech.
Biden is a racist.

"In Delaware, the largest growth of population is Indian Americans, moving from India. You cannot go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I'm not joking."

Time Magazine

Eating ethnic food is now considered 'cultural appropriation' by the left.... so wouldn't they have a problem with Elizabeth Warren appropriating the entire culture of the American Indians???

In the United States, cultural appropriation almost always involves members of the dominant culture (or those who identify with it) “borrowing” from the cultures of minority groups. African Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans and indigenous peoples generally tend to emerge as the groups targeted for cultural appropriation. Black music and dance, Native American fashions, decorations and cultural symbols and Asian martial arts and dress have all fallen prey to cultural appropriation.

Great for Liz.

Stands up to Wall Street and Hillary gets big Wall Street money !!

And we have Bernie "working" with Hillary.

Excellent platform.

But Hillary is the ultimate party elite candidate, and how can Joe Biden being apart of the Obama admin say one thing about separation of powers. I'm not a trump guy, but damn some posters on this site see no wrong as long as it's their own party doing it

This was expected.

From Sanders to Obama to Warren to Biden.

They are all getting behind Hillary. No "anti-establishment".

They are all following the script.

Biden is a racist, and Trump isn't? This must be another one of your jokes.

Warren makes a lot of sense, but it is a long video I had it playing in the background. I didn't even get to Biden's I am sure most who have responded by the time I posted this haven't had time to watch both either.

I put his quote up there.
Are you in denial?
OR is this one of your jokes?

PS: Where did I mention Trump? I certainly didn't back him up here.
I can't point out Pot Calling Kettle?

Why do you say that? What has he done to disrespect separation of powers?

Are you insinuating that I'm one of these "some posters"? Because I see a LOT wrong with what the Democratic party has done. I just loved these speeches. And I'm not a Democrat.

I think you're absolutely right in that they all follow the party line, just as Trump is. So, the left is certainly no different from the right in that respect. Trump is as "anti-establishment" as Warren is.

Could you be any more disingenuous? The amount of people actually whining about "cultural appropriation" on the Left is far lower than the number of bigots on the Right. (Since you want to play that game.)

Last I heard, Elizabeth Warren was actually 1/32 Cherokee. IB Times:

It was determined in 2012 that Warren is likely 1/32 Cherokee, but many have still questioned whether that ties her to the Native American community

Yeah, it's ain't a lot but she's obviously not done any serious genealogy work either and most people haven't. There are a lot of people who claim Native American heritage based on family stories. Should they have listed her as a minority when she was on the Harvard faculty? No but that's small potatoes next to Trump bribing AGs to get cases dropped don't you think?

Everything she said about Queen Trump is true. He's a whiny, sensitive, thin-skinned, lying, race baiting, scam artist who has made his fortune (however much it REALLY is, he's more than likely lying about that too) by uhhhmm.. being born rich, taking his slumlord daddy's money and bribing by this point, I'm sure hundreds of people.

Trump is lying about being a human being.

Yet the blurb from IB Timnes says that she "is likely" 1/32 Cherokee. Why just 'Likely' if she is ''actually'' 1/32 Cherokee??? Maybe because there is NO PROOF????
It would seem that the Cherokee Nation itself did a little genealogy work, and they also took offense to her appropriating their culture when she did and why she did.
I have read up on that story.
Of course, it is I that would be disingenuous in your eyes... but maybe you should include the Cherokee Nation too.... I mean what right do they have to their own culture???
I applaud you for choosing not to back up Biden's racism.

That gets puked up by the right EVERY time Warren's name gets mentioned. Why? Because it's ALL THEY HAVE! If the worst they have on her is that she said she's part Native American, then I think that's pretty telling...

My grandmother was part Native American. No one ever gives me any crap about saying that.

Amen! She nailed the truth about Trump's character.

The only thing about this upcoming election is a consideration over the scotus. here I want neutrality. Citizens United ruling is a disasterous right wing ruling that has turned government into a private for sale business.
I simply dont trust right wing scotus's. give me absurd liberal laws verses corporate takeover censorship anti-science neocon laws...so, in this consideration, I am anti-trump

I mean, there are a hundred reasons to be anti-trump..same with with anti-clinton also..seriously..how did we come to these two clowns as our best? But whatever..now its a matter of who I dislike least, which is difficult, and then a consideration of what they effect.

tbh though, I do want a wall, and someone to stand up against the hyper PC victimhood going on...maybe Hillary will..do something here? (doubt it, but actually Obama did start to push back against the hyper PC safe space censor jerks..so hope isn't completely lost).

Hillary may end up being the POTUS..but if McCain or even RMoney was running..she wouldn't be. It literally will be just a desire to not have Trump turning the white house into a casino (although I do love casinos)

Thats how it normally works, yeah.
The plebs like us get wrapped up in the intensity of the elections. Politicians often just see it as stage acting to be chuckled about afterwards...not to say they fake everything, but there is a lot of hyperbole for cameras verses actual meaning to offend or take offense to.

There you go again being disingenuous. This is getting to be habitual! Let me remind you of what you said:

Eating ethnic food is now considered 'cultural appropriation' by the left

That statement is no more true than if I were to say, "all conservatives are whiny uneducated bigots." What really takes the cake is your wholly disingenuous fake outrage about the Cherokee Nation's "right to their own culture" in the very next post:

but maybe you should include the Cherokee Nation too.... I mean what right do they have to their own culture

Let's recap. In post #1, you were whining disingenuously by way of a deliberate, wantonly inaccurate generalization about "cultural appropriation" and then in post #2 you're suddenly concerned about cultural appropriation — what is that if not disingenuous?

Maybe you confused me for a Trump supporter?

Well let's see here. You're using the exact same nobody-cared-then-and-they-care-even-less-now "attack" on Warren to divert attention away from the content Elizabeth Warren's speech that Trump is using for the exact same purpose in his "Pocahontas" Tweets.

Are you saying that you won't be voting for Trump?

If you are, you're being disingenuous yet again. If you're not voting for Trump and you're not supporting Trump, then why wouldn't you want to read about how he bribed the Florida AG to drop the case against Trump "University" or how he released a video last week to demonstrate how happy "students" were with his Scam U and how even the video is a scam?

What really amazes me is how they think Sanders writing a short social commentary about issues of gender roles 40+ years is somehow a scandal.

Meanwhile Trump straight up brags about his decades of bribing politicians, tells his supporters to their faces that they're so thoroughly manipulated by him that he could murder a person in public and not lose their support and they don't bat an eyelash.
