Does anyone know anything about activities at Indian Springs (part of the Nellis range, I belive)?

My friend is in the Air Force division of ROTC and spent his winter break at Nellis. He said "the area north of Indian Springs has some questionable goings on." Anyone have a place for me to start?

North of it is the test complex.

They test a lot of drones there. If you drive along U.S. 95, chances are good you will see one. They also train on foot there, visible from the highway. Occasionally the red smoke screens they use will drift across the highway, making visibility a little rough.
