JERUSALEM — A top Israeli minister said he wants the government to take complete control of more than half of the West Bank and remove Palestinian residents from the territory.

While traveling with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on a state visit to Russia on Tuesday, Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel told the Times of Israel that the world should forget about a Palestinian state.

‘‘We have to aspire to the annexation of Area C; these are areas where there are no Arabs at all,’’ Ariel said. ‘‘We would remove a few thousand, who do not constitute a significant numerical factor.’’

Annex Area C? No Arabs live there but a few thousand would have to be removed? Huh? Which is it, no one lives there or a few thousand would have to be removed? Well, let's do a google search because none of us know what the hell Area C is.

en.m.wikipedia.org...

As of 2013, some 300,000 Palestinians lived in Area C, scattered over 532 residential locations.[3][4] An estimated 350,000 Jewish settlers live in Area C in 135 Israeli settlements and some 100 outposts.[5][3] Area C is completely territorial contiguous, administered via the Judea and Samaria Area administration. In contrast, the Areas A and B were subdivided into 165 separate units of land that have no territorial contiguity.[1]

Shocking, it appears that no one lives there is a complete lie because not only do Palestinians live there but so do illegal Israeli gov't sanctioned settlements AND illegal rogue Israeli outposts. Even The US condemns Israel's illegal settlements and now the Israeli gov't wants to kick out the Palestinians but worst of all have NO INTEREST IN A TWO STATE SOLUTION.

And people don't understand why Palestians commit acts of terror.

So how does the Israeli gov't plan on kicking out and moving the Palestinians? I'm sure their plan is military force. Expect many deaths and injuries. Then, where are they gonna move them to? Are they gonna compensate them?

The right wing Israeli gov't will never let a two state solution happen or peace.

Any Israeli settler in West Banks Area A B or C are all illegal immigrants.

But they're not the type of illegal immigrant the Reich wing Zionists would ever target with rhetoric.
They're murderers, rapists, and some, I assume, are decent people.

Yeah, I'm anti-Semitic blahdy blah blah.

Jog on, fascist.

The Palestinians have no desire for a two state solution either, to be fair.

Israel's position has never been stronger in it's history. No direct threats from any neighbors and even Iran is more interested in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, et al, than Israel these days.

They've just raised the bet in that 'poker game'. Perhaps they mean it and perhaps it's a move to force a more realistic negotiation. Either way Israel wins.....

The two state solution will NEVER work with these people.

They have been fighting each other for the entirety of human history.

The best way to fix this is to remove all Palestinians from the area and move forward. It IS the only logical way to proceed for peace in the long run.

The Palestians are at a complete disadvantage with Israel's military occupation, illegal settlements and outposts. Make no mistake, Israel controls the West Bank and with it the Palestinians lives, from how they travel to their poor economy. Israel controls them so at this point it's not up to the Palestians if there will be a two state solution and Israel's right wing gov't continues to make it clear there will not be one.

Right winger agreeing with the Israeli Right Wing gov't.

They did indeed live together in peace. The violence came when Zionist started the ball rolling for the state of Israel.

Just because someone doesn't agree with your politics doesn't make them a left winger. But truth be told, you are a proud right winger who just agreed with the right wing Israeli gov't.

You're right. I still don't understand how Palistinian terrorist attacks are reasonable. Do you?

Sorry, but history contradicts your post. Arafat? Remember him? Israel gave him everything he asked for.....and he walked out of the talks. It's in the charter of Hamas and the Palestinian authority that there will be no Israel.

Having said that, your right. Israel will win.

When you even see woman take matters in their own hands with a kitchen knife as we've seen recently, you know things are bad. Desperation is growing by the day for the Palestinian people, things like this only happen when u haven't got anything to lose anymore. S&F, because I completely agree with your post.

Nothing that happens there seems to bother the world , the msm covers up the protests that happen in Israel by the anti- zionist movements and war crimes are going on on a daily basis yet ignored by the world at large .

Peace keeping troops are the only answer in that area , I am embarrased to be Jewish with what goes on there , BUT DARE voice an opinion and ones computer can crash for hours or you get banned # post banned

Countries need to stand up to Israel, including the USA and look at them and state with one resounding voice the following statement:

To be persecuted is a terrible thing, no people or group should suffer or be forced from their homes at the point of a gun, nor should the world stand by and watch such. Before the outbreak of World War II, the world stood by and watched as those who were of the Judaic faith were forced from their homes at the point of a gun, marched out to camps, forced to do labor and then killed. They were persecuted and attacked, all for their faith, and used as a scapegoat. That lead to the recognition of one of the greatest horrors of the 20th century. Far too often one group or another has been at the end of a gun, forced to move and pushed from their homes, for various reasons, it was wrong then and it is equally wrong now.

However, it is the height of hypocrisy, the height of where one no longer can claim that they are the victim or that they are being persecuted when they themselves are doing the persecution against another group. You push and push, and then cry and play the martyr when others push back. It is high time that you give up the idea of claiming all of that area, based on claims so long ago given and lost. Time to put away the sword and start to make them into plowshares and be good neighbors instead of a feuding clans and tribes. We the world will no longer abide such actions, nor can we continue to support either via money or assets to such actions.

That I believe would have a far greater resonance and force them to pause and ultimately bring them to the peace table and to follow the agreements set out, where peace costs more than war.

Israel tried to return the west bank after the war,but they refused to take it back,or support its people and refuse to accept them back as well So Israel was given the land in effect to do as they see fit with it. They didnt steal it. its been forced on them by in action.

you would think Israel would know a thing or two about oppressive regimes and mistreatment and abuse of people because of their ethnicity....

hmmm..... the irony....

they should move the palestines and arabs from area a b and c to camps... you know like concen... oh wait. that would be too obvious. im sure the PM and his ghouls will have a 'solution' up their sleeves.
