I DO tend to get louder when excited!

I never really spoke with anyone on ATS outwith a thread. I never really saw ATS like that, more a place I'd rather maintain some degree of anonymity.

Or maybe I'm not as civil or engaging as I could be, hard to judge. I don't think I've been terribly rude or mean, but I haven't really done or said much noteworthy, either.

I dunno...but I know some members are familiar with one another both on and off of ATS and that's pretty cool. I remember reading some threads a long time ago where people teamed up and went on crazy adventures. I remember the one about skinwalker ranch.

I enjoyed those kinds of threads as they bring a new kind of dynamic to the subject and there's that interplay between those who are familiar.

Anyways...there are some members who always make me laugh - notably DBCowboy, Wrabbit - I enjoy the quick wit of TrueBrit and ThirdEyeofHorus.

I don't calss anyone as enemies, and often enjoy debating with Annee and kaylaluv, among others. In fairness I'd say I'm probably more aggressive with my input than they are. But whats is said in a particular thread should stay in a particular thread.

I'd rather make acquaintences that I disagree with on some issues than enemies.

Anyway, nice thread - been a lot of less positive threads of late so appreciated.

You're in the Members forum. ATS needs a Members forum; we need to have the ability to talk about members. There's nothing Facebook-like about this forum existing at ATS. And, a thread like this is what this forum is for.

The thing that points to this thread being similar to Facebook is people's reluctance to name names. Why would people be reluctant to do that? Because they're too concerned about their popularity, making friends, etc. That behavior is Facebook-type behavior. And, it sickens me.

I think we've been showing how much e like each other without specifically verbalizing it.

We joke and tease. We laugh and just enjoy the input from others that we consider friends.
