Congratulations. I'm also of Irish decent... and German... and Russian... and Native American. And, I've had my fair share of heated arguments from each and every point of view.

DItto.

Several generations removed.

Wouldn't know the first thing about being 'Irish', and sure don't wave the flag of Ireland around.

The US is my home.

Awesome statement of your beliefs. Kudos for that.

Does it ever occur to you to ask yourself "how?"

How is Trump going to solve all those problems for you?

By what specific methods, what actions, will he reverse the course of history and "make America great again"?

Great like when? 1950? 1850? 1776? When are we going back to?

And how is he going to do it? How can you have such blind faith in any single man???

I dont know.. Me personally..

Illegal immigrant problem:

100 K fine for any business caught employing a illegal immigrant. This fine will be per each illegal employed.

A immediate halt to all federal funding to any city that is a sanctuary city. Until they observe federal law and stop protecting illegals they will receive no funding.

Eisenhower removed 1.3 million illegal immigrants in 3 months with like 700ish Federal Agents. Those who are saying we cant deport any illegals at all are full of it imo.

Tighter border security. The wall is definitely doable. And with illegals costing us a estimated 40-114 billion a year 10 billion for the wall is peanuts. The wall may not even be needed if the above two things are done.

Bringing back jobs:

Bringing jobs back? Maybe a corporate income tax rate of zero, with a tariff on goods entering the U.S.A. from abroad.

Defending allies:

We have the worlds largest economy, strongest military, and dominant culture. We should insist that its allies do more to secure their own military defense..
We should stop defending prosperous, allies. Instead, they should pay for their own defense and we can confront future security issues as equals.

I dunno im not a politician. What I do know is NO career politicians have solved everything they said they would and most are lucky you have did one thing they said they would.

Trump can be no worse.

trump doesn't care who gets hurt by his hate speech as long as he gets power.

Let's not forget who laid the groundwork for this.

Liberals set the ground work for this by stifling free speech and pissing off normal Americans. Trump couldn't exist without the extreme left creating all the anger.

Did the "liberals" also burn the Reichstag?

Are you really going to have the bald-faced cheek to claim "the Right" is blameless in this?

Thanks for making it clear that you want to not only justify violence, but link it to your political opponents.

THAT is the real issue here, and the effects of that mentality are well-documented in history.

Well being that it was likely plotted by Hitler and the nazi's it would have been the socialist party folks that did it, so yes.

You mean Operation Wetback?

Yea, that was not one of the highlights of our immigration history.

Can't wait until one of these illegal leftist slackers assault an unstable Trump supporter who defends themselves with a Glock. That'll put an end to this crap.

This country is weak, bankrupt, our enemies are making fun of us, we are being invaded by illegal's, we are becoming a nation of victims

Yeah, this country is becoming a bit like Scandinavian countries allowing their daughters to be violated by their lack of action in screening immigrants.

And Trump, even though brash and slightly immoral is most importantly, not weak.

But will he take action after elected, or cave in to politically correctness. Anyone can talk tough. But will he walk the walk.

I have never seen this type of reaction to an american candidate for president, and trump is 100% responsible for it.

he is reckless and careless.

this is what happens!!!

the sad part is he knows mexico will never pay for the wall, and neither will paul ryan. he knows it will never be built.

he just used the populist rhetoric to build a following, made them take an oath to vote for him, and now he's onto phase 2

I would feel very disillusioned if I was a trump fan who bought into phase 1

Interesting theory of how his psychology works and how it might predict his behavior in fulfilling his promises.

You asked if the United States of Mexico sponsored the people rioting. I said that president Vincente fox supported their crashing our border and distributed pamphlets on how to cross without dying. What are you expecting that it has to be a formal army ? Yes it is an invasion informal as it is. The same way the Syrian refugee thing is an invasion. Did the Viking have an official army ?
So now here's support for my position.

In 1998, then-independent senator Adolfo Aguilar Zinser observed that “The government`s (Mexico’s) economic policy is dependent on unlimited emigration to the United States. In 2000 President Vicente Fox called illegal immigrants “heroes for their remittances to Mexico of over $1B a month and has stated that they are indispensable to creating a modern and prosperous country.” The Mexican government acknowledges that remittances received from illegal immigrants are the country`s third-highest source of revenue. In 2012 remittances totaled $22.4 billion.

Vicente Fox made migration a priority during his administration. In 2001 he proposed a four-point migration plan to President Bush which included, among other provisions, legalization of illegal immigrants in the U.S. and included proposed changes to our laws which would exempt Mexican immigrants from U.S. visa ceilings! (Imagine the U.S. proposing changes to the Mexican l

These protesters are part of the Reconquista movement.

And are part of Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan." or "Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan." and La Raza movement radical" Aztlan movement

These groups have got support money from the drug cartels to cause problems in the US and draw law enforcement from the streets, border, and drug enforcement.

There are even some democrats in calif and other states that support these people.

Did you star the post on page one about personal responsibility? I sure hope not because that would absolutely make you a hypocrite.

Queen Trump exists as a viable candidate for a number of reasons.

- our deteriorating employment situation is making people frustrated and anxious about the future
- the last eight years of intense identity politics by the GOP which has been pounding into mostly white people's heads that they're victims of a sinsister agenda to destroy America
- Trump's ability to effectively harness all that frustration, anxiety and fear and channel it toward minority groups

It's not difficult to understand. It's a pretty standard strategy authoritarian rulers use to get into power when the circumstances are favorable for it. Clearly many of these protesters are feeding into this dynamic but if you think Trump is building a wall to keep out the PC, you're delusional. Next you'll be blaming "PC" for the Holocaust.

What world do you live in? The president is openly running Isis, looting the country, and allowing foreign criminals and terrorist to prey on and murder its citizens.

Now in a non-insane world, someone who says they're not for all of that is going to get alot of support, and not just "white" people like that racists claim you made. I'm a minority. I like trump, and many others do.

Whether progressive authoritarians want to admit it or not, many people are leaving the leftist plantation of racists tribalism that has been used to manipulate the masses.

"identity politics" who fed that to you, Huff Po?

Yes they are and to me they sound similar to the Texas secession movement or those yelling the south will rise again, including their flag issues.

They even sound somewhat like everyone calling for state sovereignty except that they identify with mexico.

Thanks for your answers. I don't disagree with a few of your ideas, in general.

A few observations:

The powers of the President do not extend to many of the solutions you offer. And good luck getting any of that through Congress. And, I've heard President Obama called a tyrant for far less ... dynamic solutions ... than you're suggesting here.

You don't find any of those a bit ... tyrannical?

Finally, as to Trump "being no worse" ... one of the statements that the Right makes that I do actually agree with (in general, rather than as applied only to their enemies) is that the last century or so has seen an incredible increase in the powers of the American Presidency beyond the boundaries very clearly set by the Constitution. Trump, used to the wide scope of powers available as a CEO and Chairman to make corporate changes, actually COULD be worse for the country in that regard.

But again, thanks for the honest answers. I guess we'll see if you're right in the next few years.

You asked for proof of my statement that Trump's various "clarifications" only made things worse (including the direct and indirect claims that Mexico is "killing" us.

Here's one of many. Google others if you need more. You don't have time for videos, I don't have time to do any more research for you.

Classroom demographics are not an issue? So in your world, a teacher can't structure a class to be interesting to their students? You have a long list of what YOU think classes SHOULD be like ... I guess, the most charitable thing I can say is that others have their own ideas on the matter as well.

A lot of "shoulds" in your argument. You sound like another frustrated authoritarian.

I'm not here to make "points" with you. I was offering honest backup for fairly straightforward and obvious statements, as you requested. Not here to waste my time, either.
