This ignores the fact that AI has existed on this planet for quite some time already.. Alien species, other groups. So this scenario of his making won't really happen. They already have AI, the sky hasn't fallen yet.

In a true virtual machine, the operating system has no clue that it is not running on hardware.
We will probably handle it like that.
