Authorities in Malaysia have uncovered an immigration racket involving the sabotage of a computerized passport-screening system at its main international airport, raising worries about human-trafficking and security. The immigration department fired 15 officials on Tuesday, took disciplinary action against 22 and said it was investigating more in connection with the security breach at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, which could have been going on for years. Police said arrests were imminent.

Authorities said last week the airport's passport-verification system was deliberately disrupted at certain times of the day, possibly since 2010, raising suspicion people were being smuggled through immigration when it was down.
Well it did not take long to upgrade from manual to computer fraud in Malaysia. A few years ago many Indonesian women working in Malaysia, and for various reasons wanted to return home, did not have their passports. (workers on average 3 yr terms have passports held by agencies/employer) They could "buy"a short term Indonesian passport in Penang forged with their photo etc.and travel to Medan. They were given details of a designated window in Immigration to go to, "passport is taken" and they are back in Indonesia. The retrieved passports would then be returned to Malaysia for the cycle to repeat.....[url=http://]http://www.news.com.au/world/breaking-news/malaysia-uncovers-immigration-racket/news-story/4c6fc183cc60598680e095e07611f624[/u rl]

Malaysia has no real problem with people coming here. It's more wider indo.

From people who go there, and continue on.

Still, where is a US cba who lets an Aussie in, to be found lol
