I certainly don't. My country is becoming a puppet to another country. It doesn't even feel like a country anymore.

If a war breaks out and this so called country loses it. I'll say it is not my country.

To be honest (as you asked) Yes. I believe my country is a country. We bond together in difficult times, not run and say "it's not my country".

I think the entirety of the Western world and then some, excluding not many parts of the world, can be seen as one gov't. They may even go to war with each other for their mutual benefit.

i know that it is impossible to discuss the premise :

My country is becoming a puppet to another country.

when the OP will not identify the nations they claim are in this predicament

Mine seems to be more of a corporate oligarchy with puppet representatives that claim to be for the people. One of the corporate owners has decided to run for president cutting out the puppets to further their agenda.

I am still proud of the intentionally Divided States of America.
Even if they just want to suck it dry.

It is really as easy as not shopping at Walmart, and support local businesses.

The inconvenience will give us our power back.

Corporate creeps can't lobby without our cash.

China cant replace all our products with a plastic mold facade over a rice box, while the untaxed owner doubles his prices, halves his costs, fires his employees and installs robotellers 'cause yachts are expensive.

one-stop shopping is the devil, so we are effed...

What was the topic again?

No, Canada is not a country. It's a colony like Australia, new Zealand, Jamaica, etc. Our head of state does not reside in Canada and the UK has ultimate control over our policies, law, Parliament and political scumbags.

I am a man without a country, I think.

A famous writer once portrayed a country by these words, i will simplify it;

Your nation only exist as long as its cultural border, if you dont share the same culture as your neighbor, then you two dont live in the same country.

I don't think it exist in US anymore. The Gov is in control of most things, if not corporations. There is no liberty left. It is private industrial complex. Going to be barbed wire fence all over the place soon. I remember the time when people start spiking their fences. It started to get banned. I wouldn't be surprised it comes back. Oh wait, it already started one year ago.
