Well what if we just get a bunch of doom and gloom over total death and destruction, do we still count it?

For the Mayan calendar doom, it'd be pretty hard to do a told you so from. As what the Mayan believed it would just be poof and gone, back to dust. No build up no break downs of systems just done.

If something bad happens on the 3rd even if it's really bad we might not be able to count it as the Mayan calendar doom prediction.

I see, sort of.

We also know many worlds have ended, because empires crumble. So that former world is wiped away to be replaced by another. Every day the world ends for tens of thousands, they die.

Yet this rock continues. I don't see it exploding, its too big. After they slammed that comet with a copper slug it just went on its merry way as always. I heard the impact was like a mac truck running over a cricket on the hiway.

We have an effect, but not much, just too much stability in the ecliptic.

It is a scienntific given that the sun will go red giant and eat the earth in the far future. So we do have that. It is one doom prediction that will occur. Now the question is whether or not we survive to see it.

We will see what happens tommorow.. and then 4th.

But it would be nice to know its the end of the world... Maybe ISIS will blow up something?

I think these dates are relevant to spiritual connections rather then dates of world doom. It's my beliefs that a baktun shift from the age of left brain (logic) being concentrated on moves towards an increasing concentration of right brain (emotion/spiritual) usage. The gift that humans have is to put our focus' to what we choose. The balance of life calls for humans to apply logic and nurturing of life equally to carry a cleaner spirit. The third eye is the engine of which emits this energy/spirit in life.

These shift in times/baktuns are calls on an awakening to give back to life around us that we have stripped in times past to provide our build up of civilization on earth.

It is quite evident that a focus on the female side of the brain has been on the rise across the globe in recent times.

I don't want the world to end on a Friday.

Needs to be on a Monday, you know, so most of us don't have to go back to work!
