Do you remember back in 2008 when Obama was sweeping into the White House on a wave of "hope and change" and "He gonna give us dat Obama cash".
Remember all the right wing nuts ranting and raving. People were talking about civil war and secession. Then the economy tanked and a lot of people,
myself included, thought that might be the spark that ignited the people's anger against the Govt and the Banks... But nothing did happen.
One thing you might also remember, is that there were no riots at Obama rallies and fundraisers. There were no McCain supporters blocking the highways
(and anyone who supported McCain was surely ignorant enough to be easily incited to violence). No one attacked the police or Obama supporters at his
There was no shortage of racism and vitriol, we all saw it. But it was relegated to the internet and Foxnews, and largely ignored by most everyone.
Now, I am definitely not a republican or conservative. I have no use for gods or religion, I don't care if gay people get married, I think women
should be able to decide if and when they want to get an abortion without the Govt. being involved. And I will not be voting for a shady billionaire
businessman for president.
But, I think it casts a stark contrast against the left wingers and the narrative they painted that right wing extremists were the biggest threat to
the nation, and returning Vets would turn to domestic terrorism. Now it seems we have socialist extremists (Bernie Sanders supporters) carrying out
the most hateful and violent anti-campaign I ever remember seeing.
So what does this tell us?
That America's Left wing and Right wing are equally intolerant dirtbags. But the tale of the tape shows the left to be the more violent angry and
