Pretty unimpressive for an item but the whole appearing out of thin air thing,well that's kind of odd.

a friend had a ghost in her basement she labeled curious george because he would take keys and stuff and she would ask they be put back, days later they would be.

As far as the OP, unseen intelligence exists... might've been the cause and even likely. It happens. Might want to acknowledge it with a "thanks for returning them" (when nobody's around to mock) and then forget it... attention feeds the process (or seems to and it isn't usually all "good" though it isn't usually all bad either, just like people).

As far as the mound and the spade, I'd venture that there likely wasn't a vast fortune in that mound... more likely some eldritch paranormal force playing on greed to be released back into the world ... but that's from a glass half empty guy.

I don't know exactly the circumstances, but without specialised screwdrivers, a steady hand and a knowledge of how to regularly remove lenses and res-screw the frame back, to do what you explained without you noticing is eerie.

Sadly because narrowminded people who are not real skeptics have no idea that paranormal ghost or apparitions are proven to move object captured on video.Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures shows have proven it is real and people still think it is all fake,because of denial and they are not real skeptics.
Skepticism requires honesty or it means nothing to be a skeptic.

Up until this point in your story I would have chalked it all up to you, but THIS is strange, indeed. It sounds like someone is messing with you, at least for this incident. Is that possible?

Yes, ghost can move objects, I experience this all the time. Keys would disappear where I lay them and reappear in another room, or sometimes will reappear later where I put them.

Ghosts can control electrical idem such as TV's, reorders, radios, and yes computers as well. I have experience this most of my life.

None of this bothers me, I find it very harmless. I have seen ghosts that are completely solid, and some that where transparent.

There are many types of haunting, in millions of locations around the world. I find residual haunting very interesting.

A residual haunting is a playback of a past event, and in many cases the haunting have no spirits at all.

This is what I believe many people the world over experience when they witness "ghosts" which is why I claimed that actual 'ghosts' are usually more akin to like shadows of events or people from the past. Typically harmless, and the activity they influence is usually a repetitive behavior.

Like always peeking out a particular window and then a light flickers in the next hallway as it disappears. It seems that actual ghosts usually don't interact directly with a person or interfere with their daily grind. They can have an effect on electrical this is a universal trait to most anything paranormal though. The level of interference can indicate what is actually present.

Things that mess with your ability to do your daily tasks are usually poltergeists though, which can vary from mildly mischievous to outright fatal. And if things get really violent, there is a a higher chance a demon is involved. Some of these entities can lie dormant for ages on the same property, and only agitated if a person has recently interfered or interacted with an object or place that is significant to their existence.

That is certainly an interesting stone. Has it always sat in that same spot, or have you moved it around from time to time as long as you have lived there. or even try to recall if at any point perhaps days or weeks prior to your property being relocated if you had any interaction wit the stone or the area around it?

One possibility was that if this stone does have some significance, and you may have moved it or accidentally kicked, nudged, or hit it, then perhaps the entity was simply returning the favor so to speak. Objects can also be haunted. Perhaps the stone is the source??

You should really get a metal detector out there OP, could be lost gold for all you know lol.

OP - I have had the same thing happen in a house where a LOT of supernatural activity took place. In my case, it was a banjo thumbpick that I always kept in the same spot. It disappeared for a couple of weeks and showed back up right where it belonged.

Hello my name is Carl my experience started about a year ago when me and my partner brought some second hand wardrobes from a charity shop to up cycle everything was fine at first but a few weeks later I was at work and my partner phoned me and said someone is up stairs walking around at the time she was eight months pregnant so I shot home as fast as I could when I got there she said it's just stopped your probbley wondering why did you not call the police!! Because we knew there was nobody in the house I went up stairs and no one was there but a strong smell of cigarette smoke I said just being daft at first not said a word but someone ran across the loft bearing in mind this is a new build and it's not a shared loft I open the loft and put my head up and shined the touch I saw nothing but as just as I was about to go down and smothing blow in my ear I absolutely pooed my self and shot down. I did not tell my partner not to frighten her later on in bed around ten pm my partner nudged me and said stop snoring I said am not I am awake she said what is that noise as I was about to say it's not me and I don't have a clue there was the most loudest growl in our faces we both screamed and all of a sudden it was freezing and we did not sleep for the rest of the night. Then nothing happend for about two weeks then we noticed has we got up one morning that all the lights would be on we both knew this was not us leaving them on has we always turn them off as we go to bed at night I this was getting real. So then on the next morning as I got up I noticed the landing was on and the loft was open its one of the loft hatches that open down and the ladders come down and there was loft insulation on the floor so I closed it and went down stairs and the room door was open and light on i firmly self ready and went to work has I went through the door it felt like I was pushed out the door

At this point I was very concerned and we brought some Sage and blessed the house this worked for about a day and the. Again it was back with vengeance doors would rattle and the sofa would have been moved and pictures would be out of place things would drop of the walls like utensils that we hang up we would hear footsteps upstairs.

We would hear someone coughing up stairs and smoke smell I know what your thinking it's the wardrobes after a bit of research we got father bill to come around and bless the house and since then till yesterday it had stopped.

It was around five pm and my sons school bag was in its normal place and we was watching to and we heard a sliding noise we went into the hall and the bag was by the kitchen door and this is at least eight feet away and I looked at each other my partner and I the house smells of smoke agin and the untenisls have now fell off the hanger thing. Am looking for some advise can anyone help

Ok now get this... my wife took the glasses in to get repaired. The place said its the strangest thing, the screws were driven so tight into the frames that they could not get them out. They ordered me a new pair.

I got out my tiny screwdriver set and hell. they seemed way to big yet plus I couldnt even see the damn screw slot without my glasses lol... tried using a lens as a monocle but didnt help lol

Man thanks for all the replies. I kinda thought this thread died out the night I posted it.

Its one thing to lose my keys, and odd to find them like I did... I seriously thought something was odd. but then the glasses.

the lenses stacked up the screws still in, come to find out later driven in so hard they couldnt be removed. I put the lenses back in and nerd taped them closed and they fit fine.

I just dont see any of the "logical" explanations given being possible, or any more feasible than some sort of ghost.

It doesnt freak me out, not scared of my house.

Hi carl, that is some strange stuff. My wife has said she has heard a ghost cough also.

another oddity is my TV turns on by itself... often. I link that to a cheap tv though, but it is odd
