Was definitely a good idea.

I mean of course nearly everyone wanted to see it. It would've been a great debate. Bernie is too scared/weak to say anything negative to Hillary, but we would definitely get to see him unload against a male competitor such as Donald.

Unfortunately, Bernie is too easy to discredit. Trump would alienate too many Bernie supporters if they debated, and possibly send even more people to Hillary as a result of the stumping Bernie would receive.

I knew Trump wouldn’t debate Bernie and said so.

It was a pipe dream for Bernie to get a wedge to somehow upend Hillary.

Bernie, like a raving dog jumped at the chance and Trump, the shyster and con man he is just, pulled Bernie’s strings,

Bernie blew his chance to really beat hillary in the first debate.

Now he needs Trump to do it?

Did everyone miss the fact that a 74yo nobody socialist can't put away a known criminal under multiple investigations by the FBI and others, and visa versa, to a non politician who made the nom of his party early, easily, cheaply, beating 15 seasoned politicians? Not a bunch of nobodies like Bernie, either.

Who the hell needs who now?

Yep, Trump trolled ol Bernie for sure.

Dude, give me a break.

Trump agreed to debate Sanders TWICE. First he tried to up the amount of money it would cost. Probably thinking that would get him out of it. But the money came in and he had to Bitch out Again, Publicly.

He's scared to Debate Bernie because he knows he'll lose. Everyone knows he'll lose including his advisors.

If Trump is so smart and tough like his supporters think he is, why does he run from a 74 y/o socialist who he calls "Crazy Bernie"??? Because he knows he'll lose to that 74 y/o socialist nicknamed Crazy Bernie that's why!!

What? Trump actually used the world 'inappropriate" in regard to something he did/would do? I'm going to go look out my window to see if pigs are flying overhead. Or maybe check to see if the temperature in Hell is rapidly dropping. .... haha Right, Donald, finally something you did/would do is "inappropriate" haha

He's trolling him! WTF?

No way he will debate Bernie unless he's the DNC nom.

Even then, it will only last about 5 mins or until the riots start.

That will be so good for bernie when his people are burning up police cars, right?

That's why hillary won't debate bernie.

She might be forced to address that problem with the socialist democratic party.

Right. Trump making himself look like a coward and running from a debate with Bernie. While at the same time being the reason why charity just lost out on 10 million dollars worth of donations, which was his idea to begin with.

You say that is Trump trolling Bernie.

That just might be the lamest excuse I've heard this far from the Cult of Trump.

You really have the some of the worst opposing arguments ever in the history of ATS. They should probably reward you with your own Sponge Bob Helmet or something for such an accomplishment.

Didn't this all start as a joke on Jimmy Kimmel? Why would Trump want to promote a Socialist and debate a second place loser that already lost the nomination?

He wasn't joking, he was giving very specific details of how he wanted to do the debate when HE Challenged Bernie. He either spoke without thinking and then backed out or he was deliberately trolling Bernie.

I also have no idea what he's talking about when he says he doesn't want to support the media who is not generous to charities ? Didn't he say very clearly when he challenged Bernie that he knew the TV business VERY WELL and that they could make a lot of money for charity ? Didn't he use his Reality TV show on a TV network to raise a lot of money for charity on Celebrity Apprentice ?

yeah kinda sounds like Obama don't it?

Promises Promises...

NO.

Obama said he was a methodical thinker.

Said he would form a committee on each issue, and only make a move when they came to a solution.

That is actually what he did.

His mistake was in thinking he could work with the Right to find a compromise.

I believe he's scared of quite a few things when debating with Bernie. After all he flip flopped to the Republican side, he may show he has more in common than not. Trump especially has more in common with the anti establishment sentiment both held or at least claimed by himself and Sanders. He likely doesn't want to see people shifting sides if they find Sanders more compatible if they are in it, not for the left/right paradigm, but aligning with the same fight against the other left/right candidates.

Hillary defends a man who at the very least has had some
heavily inappropriate encounters with women,
she litigated to protect an -alleged- serial predator. (I don't know
what the law is so not just going to throw the r word out there)

Sanders has admittedly never held a job in his life outside
of politics, yet wants to raise taxes and give them
(in a large part) to people who don't work.

What does that say about their supporters?

Please explain to me the logic of debating someone that has no chance of
being the democratic nominee? This isn't some schoolground spitting match,
it's the election for the presidency of the United States. No, i'm not a Trump
supporter, but what reason would he have to? Strategic or tactical? Because
he said so? And no it wouldn't be that hard to defeat never held a job Bernie,
just wait till BLM chicks take the stage and he bows his head in shame

He should because he already agreed to it twice and it makes him look like a chump to drop out. Also the 10 million bucks going to one or more charities which it already had coming in would have certainly helped his voter count. Not to mention it would be a good chance to find out some details about what he plans on doing. Also, it would have looked bad for Clinton as well since she refused to do it and joked about how it wouldn't happen anyway. Guess this makes her right.

I can see you're also a Bernie hater and you say you're not a Trump Supporter. So who do you support then???

Personally I think you really are a Trump supporter but are just ashamed to admit it.

Well Dear DelegateZero88,

The Clinton Campaign has spread a thick smog curtain to cover the legal reality of the emailsgate scandal, along months making the people believe that she will never face indictment, but the internal auditory report of the general Inspector of the State department has disclosed recently an entire different situation.

The accusations against Clinton proved to be not only true, but even short in to measure the real scope of her omissions and also her systematic destruction of evidence, now, from this internal report it is easy to predict that the FBI findings are so grave that they would recommend indictment to the department of Justice.

If H. Clinton is indicted that will send the Democratic Party to a electoral limbo never before experienced in its History, so that is a really important reason to consider Bernie Sanders with seriousness and perspective, since he would represent the only chance of that party to go into the general election with real possibilities to defeat Donald Trump, under any possible scenario.

Thanks,

The Angel of Lightness
