Anyone have any trouble trying to get their PS4 to connect to the PSN? Did you get it fixed and how. Live chat with Sony yielded more than likely I'm going to take the POS back to the store for a refund.

Make sure your console is connected to a stable internet connection. Also make sure the console is up to date.

Lastly make sure that PSN isn't down for maitenance.

If you are able to access the internet on your PS4, then the problem is PSN and not the system!

I believe it was suppose to go down for a few hours this week for maintenance, this might be the issue.

It had an issue just trying to get the latest update. Connection is great, PSN isn't down according to the website. While getting on the PSN on anything like my iMac is easy as converting O2 into CO2.

If you are unable to update it, you can download it from a computer and place the update in a USB to manually update

Thanks for the heads up. I cut my grass and meats on the grill. Was going to log on later.
Don't forget that it's a holiday weekend. EVERY kid just logged onto the system for the summer.😁

Tell ya what, a buddy built a beach and a "LARGE" screen projector for the pool😀. We hang out in the pool and play GTA on the ps4.. we also have the steam account running out there too.
When the weather is good.... I'll get a photo😊

Thanks, I usually prefer offline gaming. So this shouldn't be an issue. However games like "Just Cause 3" requires a link up. GTA V online and GTA Vice City will definitely be an issue😝

Yeah, the whole thing just isn't working at all. Does not connect to the web at all...this is the second system I've bought in recent years that failed by being left alone for only a few months. Previous was Failbox 360 and that was the disk drive not opening. Best Buy "fixed" it and I got it back asking for a parental code...I bought it for myself at 20 something. Why would I bother with a parental control? The Geeks asked me for the code and I told them I never set any such thing. They gave me another and the power cable failed after two uses. Needless to say that I just scrapped it a year after I bought it.
