Maybe I'm too morbid for my own good but this is something that I've made clear in my will for the last decade. Though I've requested it be an open bar gathering instead of a funeral. Agents of Oblivion - Wither

Some good friends of mine, while not in this band, I've played in a few projects with this singer
Section 8- Divinity of Lonliness

And another favorite of mine, Celtic Frost- A Dying God Coming into Human Flesh

And last but not least, Acid Bath- Grave Flower

This!

I took my 11-year-old son to this concert. Angus Young inspired him to start playing guitar when he was 9, so I really had no choice. Oh, and Axl Rose killed it!

Mine's "Slow Marching Band" by Jethro Tull but performed, slow, by a Jazz brass section (New Orleans funeral style) backing a male jazz vocal.

Here's the lyric:

"Slow Marching Band"

Would you join a slow marching band?
And take pleasure in your leaving
as the ferry sails and tears are dried
and cows come home at evening.

Could you get behind a slow marching band?
And join together in the passing
of all we shared through yesterdays
in sorrows never lasting.

Take a hand and take a bow.
You played for me; that's all for now, oh, and never
mind the words just hum along and keep on going.
Walk on slowly --- don't look behind you.
Don't say goodbye, love. I won't remind you.

Dream of me as the nights draw cold
still marking time through Winter.
You paid the piper and called the tune
and you marched the band away.

Take a hand and take a bow.
You played for me; that's all for now, oh, and never
mind the words just hum along and keep on going.
Walk on slowly --- don't look behind you.
Don't say goodbye, love. I won't remind you.

Phil Collins

"We said Hello, Goodbye..."

Then Barber's "Adagio For Strings"...

Then some Earth, Wind and Fire... "September"...

Truth be told, as long as it isn't Rap or Country, I'm good.

Dead as well, which is a bummer

Last train home...

By Pat Metheny!

Funny thing is, I had thought about it for quite some time but never had the chance to tell anyone!

I don't want any sentimental nonsense played at my funeral... just something that makes it extremely clear I have no regrets and don't care what anyone thought about me!

I just imagine a peaceful ceremony, where everyone's quietly talking amoung themselves, lying about how they liked me and will miss me.

Then all of a sudden, a picture pops up of me flipping the bird with both hands on a 70 inch flat screen, then this song comes on at full blast!

That's how I want my funeral to be...

Roads Untraveled by Linkin Park. Always struck me as quite appropriate.
