Police Called After Transphobic Preacher Trolls Teens Outside High School

So recently in the world of the crazy. The crazy lady who went to Target to protest the bathroom laws decided it would be a good idea to yell at high school kids.

The woman, identified by Raw Story as Angela Cummings, touched down on the campus of Scotia-Glenville High School in Scotia, New York, on Monday and berated students and staff members about sex and drug use, among other things. She also captured the moment for posterity on video, which can be viewed above.

“The Bible says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. Many of you don’t have knowledge,” she yelled in the video. “You watch too much MTV, gangster music, and you live for the devil. Some of you even smoke pot! It’s time to repent!”

Oh no! Some smoke pot! What is the world coming to? Of course she had to circle back around to what she does best. Ranting and raving about proper bathroom usage.

It wasn’t long, however, before Cummings’s diatribe circled back to transgender bathroom use. “Next year, Obama is going to let you men, you young men, use the girls’ bathroom,” she told passersby. “It’s time for you to start homeschooling!”

As seen in the video, Assistant Principal Thomas Fyvie tried his best to hush Cummings to no avail, according to the Albany Times-Union. Eventually, local police officers intervened and warned Cummings that she would be arrested for disorderly conduct. She then left the premises without incident.

Don't worry, she captured this lovely bit of crazy for all the world to see and posted it on Youtube.

I'm sorry, but when you start looking like that crazy guy standing on the corner yelling how the world is coming to an end soon, you may want to dial it back some. But hey, you gotta love it when the idiots put their own foots in their mouth and post their idiocy on the internet proudly.

Was she on a public sidewalk?
Her right to free speech is just as valid as anyone elses.

I have gotten to where I honestly could not care less about any of this BS. In the grand scheme of things this does not even rate on my list.
I think I have become calloused due to the endless barrage, even on ATS, of the constant offended status.

This lady is offended, the person who made this thread is offended by her.

Half the threads boil down to this in one form or another.

I don't give a rats ass about people offending or being offended anymore.

Just one more reason in a LONG list to avoid public situations AT ALL COST.

Hopefully, the herd will thin. If I am part of that thinning great, if not, then I have something to look forward too.

But FFS, stop with the pointing of the finger and saying what an a$$hole that group of people, or person is, every other thread.

Signing out of humanity........

Where I'm at, schools are definitely not public property. Being owned by the state or county does not make something "public property."

There is no "right to protest." That "right" is contrived from freedom of speech and freedom of assembly.

Both of which have limitations on them.

Tell that to the Trump trespassers, this lady is tame by comparison.

Are they ATS members? Would you like to me u2u them?

If not, your comment is really nothing more "our nutjobs aren't as bad as their nutjobs." Oh, okay.

How is this not political by handpicking "transphobia" for the title of your thread, out of her litany of complaints listed in her rants?

You made the thread political, now live with it.

I just posted the the title of the article. Only someone who merely read the title and responded would make the dumb mistake that I was being political with this thread. All you had to do was read my tone from the OP and that would be clear as day.

sidewalks are generally public property

While I think the person in the video is an idiot; idiots have the same right to free speech as anyone else.

The United States Constitution explicitly provides for 'the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances' in the First Amendment.

Common constraints on the right to assemble are a class of time, place and manner regulations. A second type of constraint is the requirement to obtain a permit, where coordination may be needed to ensure public safety.

well, how come nobody ever gets the westboro baptist church to "move on"
maybe she was a softer target i guess, really got to pick your fights in the age
of social justice awareness.
i mean , sure it's ok to stand outside a church with placards condemning your country
and it's servicemen to hell along with gay people, whats that called? freedom of speech.
one person does it on their own,oh no we have a live one, better swing back round
'for a seven zero niner cruise in and get her to....."move along"

The Westboro nuts have spent so much time doing this type of thing that they've become intimately aware of what they can and can't do. This woman hasn't a clue. The Westboro nuts know how to stick to public property. This lady didn't. Regardless of what Westboro would have done, such still doesn't excuse her for being obnoxious and rude. I'd guess that if someone dared to preach different beliefs outside of her kids schools, she'd be the first one to scream to suppress their First Amendment rights.

She wasn't arrested though. The cop just merely escorts her back to her car. So what rights of hers were violated?

Pretend there is not a laundry list of members who have posted in support of people who trespass and disrupt Trump events, I don't care, this stuff is pure gold.

Posting in support of something and actually doing something are two completely different things.

And honestly, the whole "we can't talk about this because somewhere along the line somebody on the other side of the political aisle/your country/my country/whatever did something similar and that means we can never discuss this again" is one of the most intellectually weak and lazy approaches to discussion I've ever witnessed.

Sadly, it seems to be pretty go-to for many on ATS. Usually only when it's their side they perceive as being on the hot seat. Otherwise they're happy to discuss all day long.

That's gold, to me.

Your post reads,

Wanting to have it both ways, or in liberal parlance if we do it then it is for your own good but if you do it you are a racist phobic animal.

This woman earned her "transphobia" reputation after the YouTube video of her storming Target, with her kids in tow, screaming about their transgender policy went viral.

Type crazy atheist ranting into YouTube and see how much you win

Stupidity comes in all flavores, I would link it but I think it's petty to infer all atheist are stupid, it's just the ones who make a scene to get a few stars and flags, oops I meant attention
Strangely I see no difference between this thread and the crazy lady
