Photo's not uploading to my gallery

I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S2. I wish to change my Avatar. But for some reason once I go through the upload process, the photos are not there.
Is this new? It's been happening for 2 months.

Secondly, if I try to upload an existing photo in my gallery here on ATS. That photo gets deleted.

Is there a new way to change the profile pics? 🍻

Do you click on the little cloud with an up arrow after you've chosen a picture?

Then it's used to get stored in the gallery. From there I would click on the little man.😊

I tried again. It says upload complete. But it's not there 😕

Okay... The upload thing is still working fine on my browser.

The problem could be browser-related. Hang on a sec, will test something.

This has happened to a few people with me included. All I can offer is you PM a link to the image and I'll see if I can get it to work on this side.

Failing that, the 'Avatar Creations' guys and gals are always willing to help out. They're a lot better at avvies than I'll ever be too

Also, note that pictures over 3mb aren't going to load at all, they will just reset the upload portion of the page. So if you tried to upload any photos over 3mb it's just going to flash as if it did upload, but then doesn't.

i have no problem uploading pics as such, but still haven't got the hang of putting a pic from my gallery into a post, so i post the direct link instead.

That's exactly what it did.

When I tried the current image after I thought I made a mistake. It deleted the pilot selfie from the gallery. But remained on my avatar.

If you post the imagine in the BTS Avatars Creation page, I'm sure one of our Guru's can work it down to a 3mb of below.

Nope, incorrect browser settings don't match your problem.

Maybe you've reached a limit? Maybe your pic is too large, or maybe you've got too many of them?

Edit:

Oh, I see tothetenthpower has already suggested the file size limit thing.

3 Mb is big, mate. Avatars should be around 170 * 240 pixels, if I remember correctly.

Kandinsky said that too. But it seem like a lot of work for something I may change again. You had many changed out a few times.
Lol.. though I forsee a very long membership here. I don't know if I'm committed to an Avatar like NightStar or Ladyinwaiting.

Is the avater creations link in the forums?😊

I was informed it can't be over 3.0mb .
Which means I had pics in there that were over the limit before some needed ATS updates.😊
