Stand Before You

I stand before you anxious, uncertain,
Hoping you'll find value and worth in,
Me... just me, once I've stripped away,
All the things that matter to most these days.

I stand before you unclear and unsure,
If I'm everything that you're searching for,
If you'll accept me for what I can and can't be,
If you'll see the worth I have inside of me.

Will you see all the things that I truly am,
See past the surface, search deep within,
For the traits that make up the best parts of me,
Will you somehow see, and find me worthy.

I stand before you, offer all I have to give.
Bear my heart and soul, hoping that if,
I do that you'll find me worthy enough,
That you'll see value in me and in my love.
