I certainly do believe that there is life after death. I don't really try to speculate on what it's going to be like since it is an alternate plane
of existance, so it could be a lot like ours or so far away from our concept of reality that our mind's can't even begin to grasp it.
And as far as Frith's comment that all animals fear death and that being a good reason for why there is no life after death: couldn't that be
because of a fear of the unknown? I mean, look at kids for example. When you are two or three years old you are afraid of thunderstorms because you
don't know what they are. When you become older, you understand what they are and as a result aren't afraid anymore. Couldn't that be the same
way with the afterlife? When we don't know what to expect, we ultimatley fear it.
