Basically, he's like the liberal version of Todd Akin, but since he wants socialism, no one will care.

Let's see. 43 years ago in 1973, Bernie Sanders cited research from Psychosomatic Medicine

Psychosomatic Medicine is a peer-reviewed medical journal published nine times per year by the American Psychosomatic Society. It covers "experimental and clinical studies dealing with various aspects of the relationships among social, psychological, and behavioral factors and bodily processes in humans and animals."[1] It was established in 1939. The journal is widely cited – the 2010 Impact Factor was 3.974 (11th among 71 psychology journals and 25th among 126 psychiatry journals). The 5-year Impact Factor is 4.690 (8th among psychology journals and 21st among psychiatry journals).

for some alt newspaper.

When Todd Akin made his comment (4 years ago), he had the benefit of being able to inform his opinion from scientific understanding that had progressed by 4 decades. Oh and there's the little matter of Akin being a member of the US House of Representatives and therefore a person whose opinions were used to vote on legislation affecting the lives of millions.

Basically the same? lol.

The insipid nature of the attacks on Sanders that I've seen so far bode well for his chances in the general election if he becomes the Democratic nominee.

It is odd that he used such specific examples , rather then just that "stress" in general is possibly being linked to Cancer. The only thing I can think of is that perhaps he was trying to give examples of what he perceived as more typical females stresses since cervical cancer is specific to females? This was a long time ago, times have changed. I still stand with Bernie.

Well I hope so. I'm just crap posting. I've said (and continue to say) some very stupid sh## sometimes.

A LOT can change in 5 years let alone the 250+ since Sanders was a youngster.

Guess he is not up on the latest in women's health. Specialists now say body powders are one of the leading causes.
Peace.

Does this mean I can ask the wife for even more hanky panky time under the guise of it cutting down on the risk of cancer?

Awesome.

See you all later.

Sounds like the teachings of Louise Hay. Similar to how the emotional body can manifest into the physical body as a disease. Gives you a whole different perspective to health issues and reflecting back to what emotion could be causing it. One i always ask women who have a UTI (urinary tract infection) is if they are recently pissed off about something or someone, usually towards a male partner.

I've had a lot of women pissed off at me and not one has had a UTI. Because we shower.

Doesn't matter. He wrote it and now he owns it.

And I've seen nothing to suggest he denounces it.

UTIs have NOTHING to do with that.

Believe me, the last think Ill jerk to is that Old crazy lunatic. Boo Hoo cry baby,,snowflakes cant handle negative Bernie article ? If he beats Hillary there will be negative ads 24/7 about him, the only reason he is even up in the polls is because he hasn't had any negative tv ads yet. The reason he hasn't had any ads yet is because the democrats, ya know that side your on, they treat him as insignificant and want the public to as well. This thread isn't THAT damning so don't cry.

Many seem to have missed the fact that Bernie Sanders did not write that bit about the causes of cancers. He merely cited studies making that claim. There is a difference.
