Even my uneducated Trump supporting self can see that she and her people are very weak compared to Bernie and that very strong allegiance he, I mean that's pretty damn impressive what he has going on.

As for Trump, Hillary isn't the one on the news 24/7, its obvious he is going to dwarf her, that is if the Bernie people cant pull it off.

I just kind of have this feeling that Bern is going to win the nomination, I know she is ahead but other factors ARE at play here. Go Bernie,,Go Trump !!!! #NEVERHILLARY

I'm rather confused about whether or not you are glad Bernie "will win" - but in any case, it's what I want, and introvert does as well (I believe) - so why argue?

You think you know so much - some of us have a decade or more on you, and have also been paying attention. If Bernie wins, it will be the best thing to happen in this country since before you were born. Watch.

No, there's no need to argue, but I do enjoy nice political debate.

To help clear up your confusion, I don't have any preference with regard to who wins. But I do know how bad it sucks to vote for the loser -- I haven't voted for a winner since Bill Clinton in 1996. I'm genuinely happy for Bernie supporters if he wins (and I think he will). It feels good to win. I try not to hate on 'the voters,' even if my comments read that way...I don't hate the voters, at all. It's not their fault the parties are so corrupt. It's not a bad thing that they give their trust and confidence to candidates they believe have earned it.

To be honest, I was left feeling disenfranchised after the 2000 & 2004 elections and after the 2008 DNC primary (I supported Hillary). After so many years of being miserable with the 'winners,' and after being left feeling disenfranchised by my own party (and my own candidate -- Hillary), I ultimately decided to start taking a real critical look both major parties. Opening my eyes to the corruption on both sides was a liberation.

I'm much happier feeling apathetic about our national elections. I had always been very passionate about *partisan* politics and the disappointment was taking a toll on my life. I spent years running a political blog which required a lot of effort because I presented my own original research and my family was suffering from the amount of time I put into it.

I really do despise both parties equally, so I feel like I am fair in my cynicism of everyone running on both sides. I'm a misfit most everywhere politics are discussed and I am pretty much alone in where I stand. But there's room for my views in the national conversation about politics and ATS is the best forum I have found to be honest about my opinions.

Also, I do know "so much." But I don't know everything and don't claim to.

I'm 45, btw. Also, I think Introvert is a Hillary supporter but I could be wrong about that.

Wow - so you were deep into it, running a blog?
It's all I can manage to just pop into these threads anymore - I decided a few months ago to become apathetic.
I realized what I was doing (in cheering for Bernie) was just kind of like cheering for a hero in a movie or drama series (film or book, either way), and that none of it really matters all that much anyway.

Fortunately, I'm able to just "turn it off" now, and sit back and watch. I was starting to get all freaked out, but pulled back.

Sorry for underestimating your track record - I'm impressed. I tried running a blog for a year, but without traffic coming in it got boring, so I came back here. (The site was about religion, though - not politics.)

Almost positive introvert is a Bernie fan, unless he's changed horses, but I don't think he has.

I like your ability to stay objective and observe rather than pimping any of them. (I do want Bernie to win, but had rather given up on him - kinda like Pedro - but Napoleon still hasn't done his dance...!)

From his past posts, I believe the member could be described as an active Hillary supporter.

I do not believe that Introvert is a paid poster, let me make that clear. I believe that another ATS member may be one of those paid posters, but it isn't Introvert.

Well, since my name was invoked several times, I suppose I need to respond.

No, I am not a Hillary supporter. I am very vocal on the email scandal and other issues like Benghazi because there is a lot of disinformation, lies and outright hatred that is spread on such issues. Too many people approach these sorts of issues with a goal in mind. They already desire a specific outcome. In the case of the emails, they wan't her to be indicted and sent to prison.

But in doing so, they toss aside the facts surrounding the case and legal precedence we can look at from the past. Fact is, cases such as this rarely go to court and it is in only extreme circumstances that people are indicted on charges related to emails, security, etc.

Almost daily, we see threads and stories about "new" developments in the email scandal, but the majority turn out to be Right Wing bull#. "This expert says this" and "this expert says that". "Hillary is toast"...rinse and repeat.

It's complete garbage. We cannot come to any solid conclusion until we get more information and anyone that claims to have that info, is a liar. Simply taking a stance against the BS and fighting against those that spread disinfo and lies apparently makes me a Hillary supporter.

Oh well. Not my problem. I want the truth and I am not better informed by falling for the Right Wing propaganda that tries to force my opinion in one direction.

Also, I do not support Bernie. I am a socialist, but I think Bernie is wrong in some areas. He is a breath of fresh air, in that he talks about issues we need to address, but he's going about it the wrong way. We cannot do what Bernie supports until we get our spending under control and re-prioritize it. Only then can we truly implement programs like UHC, education spending, public works, etc.

So I will be staying home on election day. People will go to the polls and vote for whatever politician they like the most and I will laugh while they vote against their own self interests. In the end, I am confident Hillary will win the presidency and nothing will be accomplished, as far as real change, for the next 4-8 years.

It's not very nice to take remarks out of context. Trump said...

"It's incredible. He wiped out the uncle, he wiped out this one, that one. I mean this guy doesn't play games. And we can't play games with him."

Meaning that any person who, at such a young age, could take over a Country and then ruthlessly purge large numbers of his father's former key officials is somebody that needs to be taken very seriously - as an enemy and a threat. Kim does not play games - and we have to play hard ball with him as a result.

This hardly qualifies as "praise" for the guy. Any more than saying that one has to recognize that El Chapo was able to build a massive criminal empire, and so has some smarts/balls...or that Hitler had something going on, in being able to take over Germany and then most of Europe, or that Mao must have been pretty adept at...well, you get the point.

Hillary, and you apparently, are attempting to mislead people in saying that Donald Trump has praised the Dictator of North Korea. He is simply giving him his due as a worthy adversary...one not to be taken too lightly.

Did you hear her say "RaqaSyria" at 2:18? It sounds like she was calling Iraq and Syria a one word country. I wonder if it was just a slip of the tongue or if that is something they do behind closed doors. They are next door neighbors and obviously they have interests in that pocket of the world.
