Can you hear me in French

Found this little clip today, pretty awesome! what this type of technology will morph into could change the world!

Surprised this was not already developed..
I think it would still be difficult to have a full conversation with this device but on a basic communication level it seems pretty good..

Haven't they used this at the UN since the sixties? I remember putting headphones on to listen to an Indian man give a talk.
Class trips when you live in NYC include things like the UN, the Empire State Building and the statue of liberty.

Now they need to make one for the call centers in India. It will take away their accent!

I called my DSL provider this week and I was connected to a person who could speak good English but I could not understand him. He could barely understand me. I told him my internet is slow. He was like can you repete. I finally asked him if I could email him my problem LOL, I ended up hanging up!

I think I'd prefer a human voice with accent to a robotic voice.. That would be awful
