They would need a ship or land based launcher. There are no shoulder fired missiles that could reach high enough.

ISIS apparently threatened France a couple of days ago in their last video and intelligence warned France this week.

Good point. In light of that warning given by french intelligence its plausible that, that terrorist group ....(trying to remember their name. Its an acronym) Syrians Intentionally Spreading Intimidation? The SISI's? Are behind this.

they say it is odd that the debris was found so far away 100 miles they said it wasn't that windy...... and the pilot was in good spirits when they had contact with him

If they had a non-catastrophic failure. If it was a catastrophic failure that could bring the plane down as quickly as this did, there could have been a runway directly below them and they couldn't have done anything to land it.

Paper and light debris can go a long way. They were in the jetstream still don't forget.

Likely this will effectively and completely shut down Egyptian tourism...a major source of income for Egypt.

Without straying too far from topic...What your suggesting is that they(ISIS) planned to intentionally take down EgyptAir flight MS804 exactly 804 days after MH370. In order to flip a middle finger to world powers?

They could have decided to shoot this particular plane/flight down with a missile, like they did MH370, and want to show the world that connection. Essentially, to give all the world powers "the middle finger".

Kinda IMO seems like IF you are remotely close to the truth, then it would take "world powers" to pull this operation off as you describe.(who really controls ISIS?) So, if i follow you, the world powers are giving themselves the middle finger?

Apparently there were 15 French were on board, and it was a plane departing from Paris so it could be related to ISIS threat..

If it hasn't been mentioned yet...the news says there were three Air Marshals on-board.

And how is my post any more off topic than Turkish air force speculations???

yeah, now i might be off topic with this post..

Because Turkey has been absolutely involved in the agenda for years!!!

Why are you even on this site?? Putting down real thinkers with your "alien" jokes about "conspiracy theorists"! Don't you understand that there were a whole load of fictional stories made up to deliberately discredit those who do understand the central conspiracy??

It could be anything but I remember hearing this on the news which happened only in Nov 2015

Thomas flight swerves to avoid rocket.

A British plane carrying 189 passengers came 'within 1,000ft' of a rocket as it approached Sharm El Sheikh, it emerged last night. The Thomson flight from London Stansted only took evasive action after the pilot spotted the missile speeding through the air. The jet landed safely, and holidaymakers were not told they had been seconds from disaster. Read more: www.dailymail.co.uk... Follow us: @MailOnline on Twitter | DailyMail on Facebook

Doesn't ISIS have enough money to buy these launchers? Maybe they've graduated from shoulder-based missiles. At any rate, if it was a missile, it would leave a long heat-signature. Is there no government over that way capable of spotting this type of launch? (They probably wouldn't tell the public, though)

Is it unusual to have three Air Marshals aboard a flight with only 56 passengers?

is this really the case that the flight is 804 and it is 804 days after the Malaysian flight went missing, i mean if that is so, its not a coincidence IMO. its part of a series of events that have been planned and have an end result.
things in the news regarding saudi arabia and the usa regarding 9/11 and the revealing of saudi arabian debts to the US, with this plane being destined to the biggest Arab country, and the possibility of Turkish military jets in the area, this could all be part of something BIG...... or just crazy coincidences...... i guess we will just have to wait and see.

The problem is moving it. They would have to find some way to move it to the islands near there, without anyone noticing, getting it set up, and launching it, all without anyone seeing anything. At least two eyewitnesses reported seeing a fireball, or streak of fire when the aircraft disappeared, but not anything going towards it, that I've seen yet.
