Fighting for rights is not literal fighting. Or shouldn't be. There were ways to deal with the procedural issues. Even at a later date if warranted delegates can be awarded if that's what is needed.

Fact: No matter what, Hillary still won Nevada. Back in March.

But mom that kid did it...why can't I.
These days two wrongs still don't make a right.

The violence was in the way of threats of violence at one instance to a two year old child.
These people are not Bernie. They acted on their own. I don't hold Bernie accountable but his denouncement of the action should not have included a but and the was Debbie Wassermans point.

The narrative has been that every ideology has it's violent fringe.

Then they go on to attack Trump and his supporters like they are responsible for the Bernie followers violence.

What I've seen is a total disregard for the rights of anyone else, by the Bernie supporters. Then again, they aren't really for equal rights or even The Bill of Rights.

"The Bernie Supporters" being every single Sanders supporter, and you know that they aren't really for equal rights... How?
Ah, the 'ol "but Socialism!" argument? Or is it Communism this time? People never seem to make their mind up about that.
Or is this a "I have no proof, I have no logical argument, what I say has no basis in reality but trust me I know this stuff k thanx bai" sort of deal?

Here's something that might surprise you: Communism and Socialism aren't inherently evil (neither is Capitalism for that matter). While I am sure there are some crazy Bernie supporters who want to turn America into the USSR and see him as the best shot, there are also crazy Trump supporters from the KKK (or maybe not, KKK is a Clinton fan last I heard.) Just like there would have been cray cray Cruz supporters wanting to turn America into a theocracy.

Speaking of ideologies with a violent fringe, I wonder if Pacifism had one? That would be somewhat ironic.

I never mentioned socialism.

I was more concerned with rights to free expression, rights to privacy, rights to bear arms.

And here we are, setting up a straw man argument instead of addressing the continued violence.

So you are ok with people infringing on the rights of others.

Wait, so you place no blame on Trump for inciting violence and his supporters causing violence?

The violence at Trump rallies was alive and well long before the Chicago protests. That said, I haven't heard of any violence at Trump rallies as of late.

Go back to the threads on Trump supporters being violent. I said there that anyone who used violence that was not defending themselves (which clearly some of them were not) ought to be held responsible. Trump has backed off from saying to knock the crap out of people, but in fairness that was in the context of someone who was about to be violent.

Regardless, individuals are responsible for their own actions, not Bernie or Trump. The media and the Democrats thought all violence was the fault of Trumps, particularly those of Bernie supporters. Now they are changing their tune when their candidate Hillary is being targeted.

Sorry, you mention Socialism and Communism so much in regards to Sanders I just had to presume it would be the same argument. (Simplified: Bernie=Socialist=Communist=Bad.)

So you are ok with people infringing on the rights of others.

You complain about me strawmanning and then immediately do it yourself. Of course I don't support that. While in some cases our ideas of just what rights "rights of others" includes (for instance I think "ownership of guns" is an absurd thing to call a "right") but for the most part I would say we agree.

You're right, people need to take responsibility for their own actions, trump most definitely included but his rallies have seemed to simmer down these days.

The problem is the media, they always have been and always will be. They don't report news, they report and hype up anything that will give them ratings and push a narrative for their agendas. The MSM is owned by a few elites and should not be taken seriously. They are awful.

Just an update, last night Bernie supporters violently protested another trump rally, and much of the same msm that wanted an apology from Bernie for his supporters violence against Hillary blamed trump. And what a surprise, not one of the democrats that were demanding Bernie to denounce violence I Nevada have said a word about this far worse violence at the trump rally.

Hypocrites.

In this case, I feel the media and DNC did exaggerate the situation, though if someone did post threats on Twitter and home dresses that should be looked in to.

But that is the point on this thread. These same liars are the ones for giving Bernie or other left wing supporters a free pass on violence at trump rallies.

I hope the Bernie supporters see just how little the establishment democrats think of them. You think they and Hillary will have Bernie supporters interest at heart once they get the nomination? They will be discarded as soon as they are no longer useful.

Oh, and stay classy ms. Boxer.

You are quick to point a finger at Sen Sanders supporters, though you do include "other left wing supporters" in your hypothesis.

Soros funds attacks on Trump

That might help in resolving whom, is responsible for violence at the Trump rallies.

I'm sure there are some Sanders supporters involved. They are only human, after all. Some might be getting a bit antsy because what they see as the best presidential candidate likely to appear in their lifetime is getting obviously shafted by a process that is supposed to be fair. The Superdelegates and dirty tactics like Correct the Record were to be expected, but playing with the voting itself (and so much, too) is more than people thought they would stoop to.

The DNC election is rigged. I don't know if the rigging is strong enough to ultimately hold Sanders back, but it is rigged. The only people who will say otherwise are Hillary supporters.
