1 agrees with your points made arpgme that yes positive actions and thoughts can have rippling effects upon the WHOLE* of which we ALL* make up.

Question is however is it possible that many can have great intentions to make some feel positive & welcome and do things and even begin to think certain ways to make some feel happy and still be wrong in the grand scheme due to not considering how the future would be effected?
Which then can cause negative ripples if those positive acts destabilized the "entire" in the future?

Like with the farmers is it wrong or right for the original apple and orange farmers that used to produce NATURAL apple and orange juice to only be able to produce modified pear juice from those apples and oranges now due to following and trying to assist the minority "group think" feeling its okd to mass produce modified juice w/o fully evaluating the farming industries future to produce Natural crops (in fertile soils)...

In short I do not think just because the majority agrees on something that, that which was "accepted" by the majority is right.
I could be wrong though

Thanks for stopping through arpgme, be well friend.

If there are no such things as right and wrong, then there would be nothing to prevent your neighbor from breaking into your house in the middle of the night and shooting you in the face.

True, but I guess using this example, the thread op would be clarified more if say the scenario was in like the movie the Purge... Where that activity is okd or accepted in the movie.

The Purge event

In the late 2010s "The New Founding Fathers of America" have established a new totalitarian government and a police state, following economic collapse. In 2017, the 28th amendment of the U.S Constitution, is ratified. This amendment establishes one night a year – called "The Purge", which occurs on March 21 to 22 – in which all crime is legal and all police, fire, and medical emergency services remain unavailable for 12 hours from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. the next day. The only rules are that no government officials with authorization levels of 10 and higher are to be disturbed and all weapons above Class 4 (explosive devices such as grenades, rocket launchers, bazookas, etc.) are forbidden. Anyone who violates the rules of the Purge would be publicly executed by hanging. The purge has resulted in crime and unemployment rates plummeting to 1% and a strong economy. Although it is thought to be used as an act of catharsis for the U.S. populace, in reality, it is used as a method of artificial population control as the unemployed poor in slum neighborhoods are usually the main targets.

Referencing this example with the Purge like behavior premise it would be right then due to the majority accepting it... Oddly even if its completely wrong.
And this is exactly what I mean @ what point are things considered right or wrong if the majority accepts? Or does right or wrong even apply to majority rules?

So 1 thinks it is more then just the perception based of the observers and based on facts that if this type of behavior was accepted in the Purge that eventually after enough time the population will be depopulated.
Depopulate to levels where the population cannot reproduce properly anymore, due to accepted practices and actions/behaviors of the majority...

Thanks for taking time to answer the questions Op3nM1nd3d

1 agrees from their perspective things may seem acceptable, but what if those things "accepted" are/were to cause future problems? signaling further that, that which was accepted may of been wrong due to the problems caused later...

Now if the majority accepted certain activities and or behaviors that did not seem to cause future problems and may even assist in the future then, I guess then the majority was right, due to no problems caused and assistances made or accomplished that helped out.

That`s just the thing. If you look at the past and now consider whether or not they were right and they have done it right, would you say that is the case? We may never know if the world would be worse or better if different actions were taken in the past. Because as suggested, what and wrong is but a matter of subjective interpretation. In my opinion, no one should blindly follow a group think but rather process what is being proposed in his/her own head and then decide to agree or disagree and make his/her voice heard. But most of all, accept different opinion and therefore support individual thinking which over the history has helped us to make advancements in about every branch that we know of.

Agreed

When viewing the past there were times segregation was "accepted" by the majority & to 1 that was wrong. And it caused many to be held behind in societies that were not part of the majority then. Which in turn caused future issues today... This is why though perceptions may generate what is right and wrong, the reality seems that there is more to it in many instances.
