And you have the choice not to watch them, you seem to want to ignore that Trump wants to scilence them by expanding laws so they are open to more lawsuits and saying he will use his power as president to do so.
If you don't see that as an all out attack on free speech then you have a misunderstanding of what it is.

You're still not getting it. This isn't about the disruptors being right or wrong. Like I said in my first post, it was a private venue so they were wrong.

But the part of the OP that I was responding to was the idea that Trump represents free speech. He doesn't. He might speak his mind but he also complains about things that others say about him.

Being blunt and actually supporting free speech are not the same thing.

Ya to many people seem to think free speech is this idea that you can say whatever you want when ever you want and no one can complain. The first says nothing of the sort.

I did state he represents free speech to me.
From across the pond. With limited anti Trump propaganda.
I get most information from here on ats.
I said, It is from my opinion. And other opinions welcome.
Thanks for yours. Although we differ.
I still think he's the best choice you have.
I'm glad he speaks his mind.

I'm not american so I am also looking in from the outside.

As far as their best choice. Good thing it really doesn't matter who is sitting in the white house. I've spent 30 years hearing or reading how whoever is there is flushing the country down the toilet but it never really seems to get past that last hump and is still floating in the bowl.

I did state he represents free speech to me...I'm glad he speaks his mind.

Nothing wrong with that and I guess it is an example of free speech but that is everyone else supporting his right to free speech and not him supporting free speech.

Dude you are either deliberately ignoring my point, not reading what I am saying, or trolling.
Trash talk the press all you want, I am not saying they don't ever lie. For fun tho, show me a time they outright lied about Trump.

What I am saying is you can't say Donald represents free speech when he has outright said that he wants to use the power of office to open up the libel and slander laws that would allow more people to go after them. That is an attack on speech from the state!

I get most information from here on ats.

You shouldn't get your information from one source, ATS is not the end all be all of information. Anyone who has an email address can sign up and post here, that means there is plenty of lies and BS on ATS as well.

Trump is a genius at marketing to a targeted demographic. Their support is almost cult like and totally blind to his beautiful chicanery. And BlackCrowe, it seems you fell for his BS as well.

But from my perspective, Donald has alienated the very people he needs to win the WH. I think he planned this and will soon drop out of the race and assure the win for Clinton,
his old friend.

A brilliant classic Machiavellian political maneuver that will devastate his supporters into not even voting for anyone the GOP finally throws out there; who I believe will be Jebster Bush and his merry band of neocons. They still control the beltway...don't kid yourself; the military, CIA, NSA secret groups that don't even have a designation. Trump knows better than to go up against those heavy hitters. All his billions mean nothing to the dark lords.

American politics...the best show in town.

It's one thing to want change, it's another thing altogether to elect someone who can easily create major conflicts in the world. It may be hard to believe, but I agree with the feelings of most Trump supporters. However, Trump in my opinion is not the non-establishment candidate that truly can relate to the average struggling American. Do you really think these personal traits will bring the world together and strengthen America?

-Rudeness
-Name Calling
-Can't control his Temperament
-Divisiveness
-Narcissistic
-Degrading of Women
-No detailed plans on how to remedy Issues
-Part of the same 1% corporate elite we've all complained about
-He got where he is today with the help of his father
-He's had questionable business practices
-Donated money in the past to gain favors from politicians
-Denies saying things than flip-flops on issues

If the majority of us met anyone with those traits, we would walk away calling him an @sshole under our breaths. This is the type of non-establishment candidate we think will improve America, avoid conflicts, and improve world relations? I don't think so. Be careful what you wish for.

I still think the perfect non-establishment candidate would be Dylan Ratigan. He's smart, mad as hell and has clear plans on how to resolve issues. He's not a one liner blow hard that thinks just because he's worth billions, he doesn't have to account for anything he says.

That's a joke, right?

lol, got me!

Who the f wants "humble" in a leader?! I mean the way some people define it.

Was MLK "humble"? Ghandi?

You want that quality dealing with what is out there in the world?

and wtf is a Dylan Ratigan?!

I especially like the "degrading of women" you listed.
lol!
Watch out Merkel!

What actually is your point?
The press is controlled already. Not free. And not too independent.
Trump can say he's gonna do this or that. But, something like that would have to be passed as law through congress or senate. That wouldn't happen. Nor would they pass some of his other claims.
For fun. You tell me where i said the press lies about Trump. I haven't.
I said the press lie and make up bs.
There are plenty of examples. But, you can look for them yourself.
Please explain how/why i'm a troll. Is everybody who makes a thread a troll?

And. I hope for all his supporters that he is genuine.
But. I have seen this type of comment before. And, it would be devastating as you say.

As far as i can see. Trump is the only person who could expose and end the sh1t in which these tapeworms thrive.

No one is disputing that our government is infected with parasitic tapeworms...Sane people are arguing that infecting it with Mad Cows Disease is not the solution.

I don't think Donald even cares anymore. He knows he is going to bail out of the race before the convention.

That's because it is all but impossible for a citizen to hold the mass media responsible for making up stories or blatantly telling lies about someone...I agree with Trump that the media needs to be held more accountable for what they claim...They are in the business of influencing public opinion...And if that opinion is based on lies instead of fact, they need to pay...

Although. In fairness. We only hear chosen bits of his speeches. Anti Trump propaganda.

Your entire post, awesome. But this comment is so true. I had a 17 year career in news and I know exactly how its done, I've done it myself. And for that reason, I'll never trust the media.

Talk about deluded OP - Trump "the only one who can make a change" you're nuts!
He's a bigoted, racist, misogynistic a-hole.
He wants to build walls and wants alienate the US.

Donald Trump is only the answer if the question is: Who is the one person who should never be president?

Sheesh.

Sure they can, if the press rights something that is an outright lie about you, you can go after them. Then writing a negative piece is not the same thing tho. The point here is that he wants to use the power of the state to go after people that wrote about him. That is exactly what the first protects us from, the state coming after you for what you said. Sorry you want to ignore that but I don't.
