My Other Eye


you hold ransom your thoughts for what you believe

the thought of the insignificance of your life is
beginning to over power what you are trying to achieve

you want to control everything in your life down
to the last drop

you find that some thoughts you can't control
just will not stop

you feel sometimes you are going insane

you beg and plead for a really big rain

that would wash away these thoughts of yours
that only bring you pain

i see you behind your walls

i feel your subconscious subtle calls

you can't escape this eye of mine

it's everywhere like the dimension of time

i see your thoughts behind your eyes

i see your truth, i see your lies

i see you in the dark-filled room

waiting on impending doom

i see you in the chapel hall

small child playing with a ball

i see you in the rocking chair

with empty thoughts and empty stare

i see you in the next dimension

this part of you I'll forget to mention

I've seen you many times before

behind other eyes of you there's more

there's more of you don't you understand

there's many of you roaming this land
