Clinton: The Supreme Court is Wrong On The Second Amendment

So , Hillary has more judicial experience than the entire Supreme Court.Wasnt she fired from her legal representation capability for wrong-doing ? Doesnt that kinda disqualify her from speaking on the viability of legal or judicial issues ?

But yet , the Supreme Court is wrong in their interpretation of the Constitution , specifically the Second Amendment. Is that not their job ? What they were appointed to do ?
This one lives in a world so far from reality it is not even technically in the same universe. (meaning warped)
Peace

That is something you have always refused to answer.

Ya know I am glad you asked.

The Brady' BIll' was a verbatim 'new' law of the Gun Control Act of 1968.

With the exception of the background check that was shot down by the Scotus, but gets upheld anyway.

The Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act (Pub.L. 103–159, 107 Stat. 1536, enacted November 30, 1993), often referred to as the Brady Act and commonly called the Brady Bill,[1][2] is an Act of the United States Congress that mandated federal background checks on firearm purchasers in the United States, and imposed a five-day waiting period on purchases, until the NICS system was implemented in 1998.

Has been convicted in any court of a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year; Is a fugitive from justice; Is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance; Has been adjudicated as a mental defective or committed to a mental institution; Is an alien illegally or unlawfully in the United States; Has been discharged from the Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions; Having been a citizen of the United States, has renounced U.S. citizenship; Is subject to a court order that restrains the person from harassing, stalking, or threatening an intimate partner or child of such intimate partner, or; Has been convicted in any court of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.

en.wikipedia.org...

The Gun Control Act of 1968 was enhanced in 1993 with the passage of the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act. The Brady Act created a background check system which required licensed sellers to inspect the criminal history background of prospective gun purchasers, and the Brady Act created a list of categories of individuals to whom the sale of firearms is prohibited. As quoted from 18 U.S.C. 922 (d):

It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or otherwise dispose of any firearm or ammunition to any person knowing or having reasonable cause to believe that such person— (1) is under indictment for, or has been convicted in any court of, a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year; (2) is a fugitive from justice; (3) is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance (as defined in section 102 of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 802)); (4) has been adjudicated as a mental defective or has been committed to any mental institution; (5) who, being an alien— (A) is illegally or unlawfully in the United States; or (B) except as provided in subsection (y)(2), has been admitted to the United States under a nonimmigrant visa (as that term is defined in section 101(a)(26) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1101 (a)(26))); (6) who [2] has been discharged from the Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions; (7) who, having been a citizen of the United States, has renounced his citizenship; (8) is subject to a court order that restrains such person from harassing, stalking, or threatening an intimate partner of such person or child of such intimate partner or person, or engaging in other conduct that would place an intimate partner in reasonable fear of bodily injury to the partner or child, except that this paragraph shall only apply to a court order that— (A) was issued after a hearing of which such person received actual notice, and at which such person had the opportunity to participate; and (B) (i) includes a finding that such person represents a credible threat to the physical safety of such intimate partner or child; or (ii) by its terms explicitly prohibits the use, attempted use, or threatened use of physical force against such intimate partner or child that would reasonably be expected to cause bodily injury; or (9) has been convicted in any court of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.

en.wikipedia.org...

If at first you don't succeed ?

Create the same law all over again.

For something the law already address's.

Like going around shooting someone else is verboten.

Funny how the people calling for 'more' regulations 'more' restrictions.

Refuse to read or acknowledge the already existing laws.

In its 1997 decision in the case, the Supreme Court ruled that the provision of the Brady Act that compelled state and local law enforcement officials to perform the background checks was unconstitutional on 10th amendment grounds. The Court determined that this provision violated both the concept of federalism and that of the unitary executive. However, the overall Brady statute was upheld and state and local law enforcement officials remained free to conduct background checks if they so chose. The vast majority continued to do so

From the first link.

There is no real authority for the background check.

They just get a 'hall pass' to willfully violate our rights.

Of course. We all do.

The reasons I ask Neo is because he claims to be for the pure definition of the 2nd, but has refused to admit that Muslims Americans have the same rights.

I confess to being influenced by coral and turquoise bolo ties in AZ.

It's hard to find color combos that fit both light and dark backgrounds . . . and it's impossible to find any that someone will not criticize. Nevertheless, I tend to like them. Sorry, for you--and whomever else, it was less readable.

The reason you 'ask' is because you have no legitimate support for those restrictions.

So bring up muslims.

However your free to continue that troll.

Yes, american born muslims absolutely have the right, naturalized muslims have the right.
Illegal imigrants do not!

But thats unfortunately beside the point, once guns are outlawed only outlaws will have them. People, however naive they may be, that truly listen to the letter of the law will be left defenseless. Thats the point.

She voted for the Patriot Act twice and was part of the machine that handed carte blanche domestic surveilance approval to the NSA. She can roll her 1st and 4th amendment up into a tight cylinder and shove it straight up her ass where she jammed the same rights of the American People she allegedly was in DC to represent and serve.

INDEED.

Dictators, however, care not about any of the amendments. They only care about their greed, their lust for power.

And trampling 'the little people' into the ground seems to be a favorite recreational pastime.

I ask because you do not extend the same 2nd amendment rights to all Americans. In your view, it depends on whether or not they adhere to the right beliefs you agree with.

But thats unfortunately beside the point,

It truly is.

It's 'wrong' to deny rights to a specific group of people.

IT's ok to deny RIGHTS to the entire countries populace.
