Hi there.

Have you ever played Call of Cthulhu? I found the quick start rules for 1st and 7th edition for free. They come with character sheets you can print (or you can download them at their site, listed in the rules) and a scenario.

I also found something called CthulhuTech. I haven't looked at that yet.

Ya know, I heard of it but never actually had the chance to play it. Never gone over the rules either but from what I understand it's a solid system. I love all things Lovecraftian so it's kinda a travesty I haven't played Call of Cthulhu.

It looks pretty cool and somewhat easy to learn. For the expanded rules you actually have to buy the book but the quick start rules will be enough to play. I saw these guys on the Invictus channel on youtube playing it.

It reached -2 degrees Celsius (28 Fahrenheit) here in the wee hours of this morning.
Normally I would be happy... but... Ugh.

My son has this fascination with sleeping on the floor. By the door. So I can't go into his room at night to make sure he's tucked in, and even if I do manage to shove the door open and get him back to bed, he ends up on the floor again anyway. So he was awake on and off all night last night, probably because he was cold, and refusing to stay in bed where it's warm.

Have a feeling that this is going to be an irritating Winter! Lol.
