I have two parties at the end of the month, one the 29th and one the 30th. Little Cody, my Great Nephew will be 8 and the party the next day is a combination sweet 16 Birthday party for my Great Niece and Memorial Day.

I actually have a good shot of the top kitty by itself with the reflection that will crop easier. Do that in a bit. Storming now so not sure if I'm going to lose power or not like last night.

I did see this hawk come down and hit something just a bit ago before the storm came in. Thought Id post it real quick for a little dose of wildlife

All is well! Ecuador Just had a major quake 6.7. Someone posted it in the writer thread.

OK guys getting ready to head out. I will be back sometime this evening. Everyone have fun and be good while I'm gone.

Never had an earthquake here and I would freak out if we did. Yikes!

I just want to say a couple of things while I'm here.

One is that I just love our newer members!!! The second thing I would like to say and I have said this in past sheds...Please, if there are any lurkers, don't feel funny about popping in. You are not crashing any party. It is not an exclusive club that brings people in by invitation only.

If you see the thread, enjoy the people, the stories and enchantment and craziness that is the shed, then jut pop in. We were all new once. We don't have attack dogs ready to pounce on anyone for showing up. LOL You appear, you say hello and we will welcome you with open arms. The T&C's apply here as it does in any other thread. That's it.

How do you join in? You don't have to wait for a new shed. We could be 100 pages in and it doesn't matter. You can simply come in and say hello or arrive through a portal or on a dragon or walk right in. It's up to you.

Why am I writing this? I am writing this because I can't tell you how many times through the different incarnations of the shed that I have heard in PM's why people hesitate. So, glad I got that out there again today.

I second what you just wrote.

So I want to tell you want just happened. I needed gas, drove to a station. I was pumping and a guy next to my pump was also pumping. I looked and he was smoking. He was shaking and acting crazy. I don't mind smoking but not while pumping gas and he was ashing on the pump.

I said to him "hey do you know gasoline is flammable". He said "Yea but so is life". I said "It seems like you want to blow yourself up and it's not fair for me because I don't want to die today". He said "Then stop pumping and get the f out of here". Lol

So I stopped pumping and took off. A real nut case. Lol

Geez, that's crazy! Glad you got out of there quickly.
Read the poem and commented. Now I hate to leave you, but so much to do. Giving the new posts a quick look and have housework and other things to do. I shall join you when I can.

Since you are alone, or so far as I see it, then keep an eye on the place. Swords are still under the couch, or you could get one of the dragons or other beasties to help if needed.
