Not while we are rafting. It is too dangerous. I was serious when I said a couple people die a year. You have to be serious.

A couple of people die a year and you want to do this because??????

Yes but like a million people or more raft it a year so its actually MUCH safer than the highway..... LOL

I've done it 3 times, and the New River which is calmer but still a lot of fun once. The New River has rapids too.

I don't want to find any sheddites missing after this little adventure of yours. I should probably send some mermaids out with you guys. You know, just in case someone needs rescuing.

Do the white water rafting, then have a beer or five to celebrate making it through alive, sounds like a better plan to me.

I've been on the Rogue in southern Oregon, took three or four days. Lots of rapids. Lots of good food and fine wine. We had a sommelier from a California winery with us who instructed us with bottles worth over $100 apiece, all rolled into the price of the trip. Watched Seahawks (Ospreys) catch fish from the river. No cell phone coverage, so no texting. A delightful time.

I think they have an over night to do the full river. You camp along the river and then cook out. That would be even better. We just had coolers in the boats with sandwich lunches.

Your trip sounds great. I wonder how similar the rivers are...

Where are my manners....Hello!!!!!
