Painted

I was your canvas...and you painted me.
Each stroke was made from memory.
Soft sensual brushes, thin delicate lines,
I was the only thought within your mind.

And you chose to make me beautiful,
Painted me as a flawless jewel.
Saw everything that I couldn't see,
Thank you for seeing beauty in me.





When You Go

When you go,take my heart with you,
Keep me in you're thoughts and mind.
Please keep it safe from others who,
Would try to break the ties that bind.

Please keep it close next to your own,
Don't let it fade while you're away.
For my loves for you and you alone,
And your love for me I won't betray.
