Does anyone else find it amazing that since Mrs. Clinton apparently has the media so firmly in her control, that Mr. Trump continues to have the media clamoring for every honeyed dollop of wisdom that flows from his leonine lips?

Trump passes wind, and 8 million pundits give him "air" time, but somehow, some way, the old lady in the pantsuit is "in control."

Anything is better than putting the spotlight on the real boy in the puppet show. Just a splash of whiz now and then... in case.

I just hate it when reality foils such well-constructed political narratives ...

Don't you?

Why is Bernie's wife being blamed for this, anyway? Aside from the obvious answer of "the media can't find any other hit piece topic to use on Sanders and the anti-liberal crowd will snap up literally anything that supports their pre-defined realities" it seems ridiculous that the college failing four years after she left is somehow her fault.

Did she instate some sort of NAFTA-like policy that had long-sweeping consequences that can be pointed to? As far as I'm aware the college was performing perfectly well while she was there, indicating that either she did an excellent job, or she did a competent job while the person who followed her was failtastic.

But it... Well, doesn't. With Clinton in control there's a perfectly logical explanation as to why Trump gets all the air time, and it's because Clinton's popularity is inversely proportional to exposure. The more people know about her (outside of carefully crafted shill jobs which we've seen an abundance of) the less likely they are to vote for her. The media will obviously do everything they can to avoid giving Sanders coverage, and that really only leaves Trump, who they want to go on about anyway as he's controversial and presumably boosts their viewership.

The options are:
Sanders - Won't cover.
Clinton - Can't cover.
Trump - Want to cover.

So of course Trump gets huge amounts of air time.

To be fair, the Washington Post is very much in the pocket of Hillary. You'll be hard pressed to find one article critical of her. Pretty much every article they've published about Sanders had been a hit piece. Even when the article is about him succeeding they attempt to diminish that success.

Yep, and after looking into it further, my initial suspicion seems justified. This is definitely a story plant from Clinton's team, no doubt about it. Sneaky, sneaky.
