Not so silly. I live near two major airports. Now if you've ever seen an aircract from 8 miles away with his landing lights on coming towards you but far enough away that you can't hear anything, they can be very lifelike and mistaken for other flying craft.

In that case you would constantly see UFO's.

Not very often that planes randomly fly towards an airport, that's why they are called a flightpath.

I live close to an incoming flight path for McCarren airport, there rarely is just one at a time.

I took that to be the aircraft without further contrail, a setting sun appears to be right of the camera, the moon rising in the east. Having said that, possibly the ISS, though the ISS is very bright.
But without any dates or times you can't know, although the ISS passovers are well documented as you'll know.

Looks like you are at Sebastian inlet area. got the causeway, the little pond area, and no doubt the ocean on the other side of those dunes

ArMaP's object #2 (about which is what I believe the OP was inquiring) looks like it could be the plane that made the sunlit contrail (ArMaP's object #3). The plane may be flying through a part of the sky that isn't conducive to contrail formation.

This is extremely common, and I've seen it many times before (i.e., a plane that was making a contrail stops making a contrail).

I'm assuming the video was shot in Florida as that's the OP's stated location and that it was uploaded some time after it was filmed , upload date of May 24, 2013.
The video I posted of the Delta 4 launch would seem to be around the same time as the OP video and bears striking similarities , I deduce from the links I've made they are of the same thing.

True, but I'm not just talking about object #3 (in ArMaP's annotated image). I was also talking about object #2.

Object #3 looks a lot like a sunlit contrail hear the horizon, which could look orange for the same reason sunset or sunrise clouds look orange.

However, the video also showed object #2, which was a moving white dot. It seems to me that, projecting the path of the moving white dot backward, the contrail-looking object was related to/created by the moving white dot.

That's what made me thing the moving white dot (object #2) could have been a plane and Object #3 was a contrail that it had previously produced.

I would agree with your assessment, as I said in my first post in the thread.

However there is a chance of it being a missile launch.
