I can sadly see our Micromanagers....our parents.... I mean our government (usa) banning that soon too. I mean how DARE their kids who are all 3 years old even THINK they can live cheap in a can? Ohhhhh no. Nope. The micromanaging government WILL take that from us also as we all NEEEEED to pay too much and he in debt.
After all, ma and pa govt knows best for us.

Pisses me the eff off
Can't garden ,can't collect rain water, can't use innocent plants or herbs because they aren't addictive and don't bring money in.... Can't feed homeless. Can't can't can't can't
Cuz gubment knows best for us.
Micromanaging jerks.

This thread reminds me of a tale I was told as a kid growing up in the 70s.

We had this family friend called Michael who used to do odd plumbing jobs for us. He reckoned he once tried to emigrate to the US which turned out to be a disaster; he claimed to have lived out the back of a transit van for two weeks on BUBBLEGUM...which was all he could afford from the meagre funds he had taken with him. Couldn't get a job or welfare.

Sounds like an apocryphal tale and, though we were just kids, we never really believed it. It just made us take anything else he said to us with a large pinch of salt.

Just a memory I wanted to share.

I don't know about living in a van, I can write you a poem.

Make your van your very own,
Make sure it blends into life,
Never buy silly curtains like leopard print.
You need to be invisible,
No painted peace signs,
That was the past,
Sleeping is the hardest part,
Resting in your van is key,
Park safe and learn to fly,
Beep, beep goes your van.

Omg I just lost my #. :'D.
Hysterical lol. Made my freakin DAY.
