Peace be with you, my children.

Now...I'd like...offerings of macaroni pictures, made with glitter and glue.

Nothing offensive, now.

This isn't just about bathrooms...bathrooms are a very small part of this.

This is about people being rail-roaded into changing who they REALLY are in favour of people being who they WANT to be or feel they are...inside.

I don't think I'm the unreasonable one.

Why are some forms of delusion acceptable where others are not? So what if someone really does think they're a god?

At what point should humanity draw a line? Lot's of people struggle, people struggle every day with allsorts of issues. Part of reality is that what you get doesn't always fulfil your desires.

We all have dreams and aspirations...part of growing up is accepting that you can't always have your own way. I don't see why we shouldn't make concessions for people who believe they're a god, or anything else...because from my perspective a delusion is a delusion.

It's not the majority who are being unreasonable on these issues...it's the minority who are so self-entitled and intent on having what they want because they want it that they expect the rest of us to live in denial of relaity along with them.

so if that's the case then fair's fair...if others get to pick what they identify as then why not me? Does it have to be gender related? Who made up that arbitrary rule?

They'll be un-married soon when time starts going backwards.

Time already does go backwards. As God, you should know that.

I totally hear your point, and I agree with you. It is not ok to have people claiming to be trans-fire hydrant.

Trans-gender people are not forcing you to do anything or change your ways at all. Don't like em? Fine. Think they're gross? Sweet. Ignore them, they will not bother you.

My point is that this is an extremely serious, personal issue that is no more choice than say being gay. Sure, you can test it out for a while, and people do. BUT there are also those for who it is not a choice, and they seriously struggle with it.

Can you imagine having to hide from any/everyone the very essence of what you want to be as a person?

Even worse, people like you claiming to be trans-deity and waving off the whole matter as if it never existed? That joke may just push somebody off the edge.

It is not okay to make people feel ashamed for who they are.

You need to make the important distinction between people being who they are and being who they WANT to be...you even said it yourself - here's the quote:

Can you imagine having to hide from any/everyone the very essence of what you want to be as a person?

I am not what I wanted to be...I have accepted this bitter reality. But I'm stillo proud of what I am. I'm proud of the fact that I was adult enough to accept that I don't get to chose who or what I am.

I'm not ashamed of myself or what I am despite not being what I aspired to be. that's the delusion, right there...the inabulity to make the distincition between what you actually are as opposed to what you actually want to be.

If people are unhappy because they can't be or aren't what they want to be we need to show them that this is normal, every day life. This has been a condition of the human race most likely since forever and we survived.

you don't NEED to be an anything, you just are. I agree that it's in the mind...for this is where thought traditionally resides.

All delusions harboured by humans are in the mind...so? If a 7 foot tall man identifies as a midget should I pretend that he is or tell him to grow up?

It needs to stop, slowly introducing acceptance of mass-delusion into mankind is a ridiculously stupid idea and I for one am glad that people aren't asafraid to openly oppose it as some people would like them to be.

Damn I see you what you mean there. Making legislation/ making trans-gendered official, on paper and such, I can see how that is a very slippery slope. Not good...WEll said my friend.

(serious question) Do you think gay people are delusional? They cannot reproduce, they are not existing as they should be, as nature intended?

BTW im pretty much on your side now, I wanna be trans-Herbal.

No, that's ridiculous. Homosexual people are not the same as transgender folk...they don't expect everyone else to harbour the same delusions as them from what I can see.

It's a myth that this warped mindset is not negative or doesn't harm anyone...it does. It's harming the youth of today....tricking them into thinking that this is "normal" when it isn't

Funny just how petty and shallow the arguments in support of this sort of nonsense really are when it comes down to it. I'll have a problem with homosexuals when they feel the need to expect the rest of us to make lunatic concessions in support of their individual lifestyle choice.

Just to add, whoever said gay people can't have children?

I find it quite alarming that you equate homosexuality with the belief that you actually are the opposite sex...you honestly cannot make that distinction? You can't see how one is vastly different and delusional in comparison to the other?

Homosexual people can have kids if they want...you don't HAVE to have kids, it's not mandatory. There are loads of homosexual couples who raised or are raising children.

I'm in my late 30's and have no kids, it means nothing. Not having kids is a prefectly valid lifestyle choice, easily achieved by simply not having kids.

Desiring to be the opposite sex or thinking you actually are...when you're not, is stupid, delusions and really unhealthy for society.

I think your absurd quiestion is not only foolish but an insult to gay people, also.

This wthread isn't about homophobia, take that nonsense elsewhere...this thread is about people being one thing, but pretending they're another and expecting us all to play along.

what boggles my mind also is what makes people think everyone who claim they identify with something are right each time.

what gives someone the authority to say 'im something im not'. thats something so paramount i would think a professional medical personnel should determine. how can everyone who self diagnose as 'trans' are always right, what if someone has a legitimate issue, but they just happen to be affected with the trans idea coincidently.

there are people with dementia. what if someone becomes schizophrenic and thinks theyre a different gender... then what?

its just a facade...

what if a trans person male by birth, now 'became a woman'; and was in a accident which requires an organ transplant from a male counter part. as the organs dont 'transiton' , what then, is that trans person going to ask for a female organ knowing it may fail and die a martyr, or is sanity going to hypocriticaly creep back in....

how can this only happen to mostly men...

if this is a natural thing and not some chemical imbalance, then it should happen in nature all over. at some point if the trans thing is nature actually mistakenly puting someone in the 'wrong body' then it should be observable in other biological carbon based life.... all of it. how come there arent any lions who identify as butterflies, or never has a male rhyno, been observed to want to be a female rhyno...or why is it only specific to gender like the OP points out.
why arent people identifying as rabbits or owls. the same way people genuinely feel like theyre a different sex, why arent cases of anything else they identify with...
statistically impossible in nature.

Exactly, very well put.

Who's to say if this particular guy really does feel like a woman or is simply selfish and demanding his own way...or that guy genuinely does feel like a female inside.

I feel like me, you feel like you...who is verifying that these people really are in such internal turmoil...that there are no other solutions other than to mutilate and medicate.

Cheers.
