His past? Yeah, he didn't have a real job until his FORTIES

yay more character assassination and personality politics

its weird how we never get a true statesman or public servant elected anymore.....

Character Assassination would be me making fun of his speaking, or hair, or how nice he is or his personality.

This is a man that didn't work until his 40s. And wants to be President. That's something you and I put on RESUMES

now, you implied he has a defect in his character quite simply and directly

so which TV star are you supporting ?

No, I'm saying a man who wants to control one, if not, the LARGEST ECONOMY in the world, and preach about work, taxes, economics, etc....has a RESUME that even McDonalds would frown about for work history.

Don't derail. This thread is about Sanders and his communist insanity.

don't lie. he has stated multiple times his model is current day norway and denmark.

I see this all the time.

It's cherry-picking.

Socialism is socialism, regardless where it is.

The problem is socialist policies cause breadlines.

We ended breadlines with food stamps.

We have no use for breadlines to feed the masses. Unlike communist and socialist utopias.

Right, food stamps. Also a Socialist program.

We have no use for Breadlines because we've improved on the method of Socialism.

But still you complain.

You people are confused.

The Sanders Campaign needs to separate the speculations.

Otherwise, the central committees will dishonor him.

Wealthy resource nations, high tech and growth industries, populations SMALLER than Los Angeles, no Per Capita immigration or crime problems, no debt, no drug epidemics.

And you think the Unites States can get anywhere near their success?

You're delusional then

You haven't made a point. You're talking about fantasy and speculation that could almost never work within the US model

The failures of government socialist programs cause the "breadlines".

And true anarchy fails to address the human factor as well.

We've never experienced any "pure" system at all. We're not purely capitalist, socialist, anarchist, marxist, or communist. We're a weird mixed bag of a bunch of crap that shifts around all the time depending on many factors.

I read it sweet cakes.

He said Breadlines are better than people starving to death without any food at all. So if you disagree with him you must be saying that you are for people starving to death.

If that's not what you're saying then you shouldn't be using that quote from him because that is what he's saying.

He's not saying Breadlines are better than everyone being independently financially stable enough to fee themselves or that breadlines are the best possible situation he can imagine. He's saying it's better than having people starve to death. Period.

Friendly reminder Sanders is a democratic socialist who fights corruption.

Whatever. Democratic socialism is at the root of Fabian socialism -- the socialism of the Elite-elite.

The corrupt elite will profit so much (in power & money) when Congress spends money under a Bernie administration.

Bernie isn't about fighting corruption. He's about higher taxes. And even if those taxes come largely from the wealthy, the wealthy will still profit through government spending and make up any tax-losses many times over.

As long as Congress is in the picture, then a bigger spending plan is designed to steal from the poor & middle class and give to the rich.

What you are saying makes no sense. They already have the cash cow in the Military Industrial Complex. That cash cow is very effective in separating tax payers from their money. Why would they give up on the cash cow that is working to implement a cash cow that might work?

Bernie is against interventionism in most cases..so in effect he is trying to slay the cash cow called the military industrial complex but you claim that it is intentionally done by the people in power as ploy to get our cash (that they are already getting).

Am I not following you correctly here?

The 'cash cow' you speak of is just one of many cash cows. THAT particular cash cow is set with the War on Terror that can be led anywhere and go on perpetually thanks to our intelligence organizations. Do you think Bernie is going to end the War on Terror or be led by it? The Military Industrial Complex doesn't need a warmonger conservative to make money from foreign conflict. They took care of that problem by declaring a 'War on Terror.'

And besides there are other cash cows to profit from. Domestic spending is a HUGE cash cow.

You need to think beyond ONE money-making scheme. The elite sure are.

I was going to add myself but decided not to edit. You are exactly right. Many cash cows that Bernie is NOT for. subsidizing the oil companies, tax breaks for the wealthy etc. Those things are things Bernie is against.

They are already fleecing the working and middle class in very effective ways...why then would they in mid stream change tactics from something that is working to something that MIGHT work?

No Bernie is not going to stop the war on terror but he is going to take the blank check away from the people who use it to fleece us.

He is attempting to put the money, that we are paying in taxes, back into building our infrastructure. Perhaps we will not save money ,but at least the money that we do spend, will be used to help Americans other than the 1%

That's odd. The Catholic church down the road from me feeds the poor every Tuesday and Saturday with soups and bread rolls.

Does that mean Catholics support bread lines and Communism, or do they believe in helping those in need?

Context is key.

The Catholic Church and Catholic Charities are not government programs.

Maybe that's why they are successful.

Oh, but they most certainly used to be until quite recently in history. The Pope and Vatican wielded extraordinary power over the monarchs of Europe for centuries...

You could call them the real power behind the power. The government behind the government.

Since socialism is controlling the means of production, and socialism is such a rousing success (bleg) why are there breadlines if the government is controlling the means of production?
