Scary.

His praise of Castro is disturbing, his honeymoon in the USSR was disturbing, this comment is disturbing.

Luckily he's been eliminated as a candidate, but I hope in the future people will look into a candidate past more. I hope those of you who lean left look into Hillary more. She's a different kind of villain.

This 12 second clip actually makes me believe even more that he is the only candidate worth voting for this election.

What's wrong with providing breadlines for the poor?
Let me guess. "Darwin"?

The problem is socialist policies cause breadlines.

We ended breadlines with food stamps.

We have no use for breadlines to feed the masses. Unlike communist and socialist utopias.

Food stamps are socialism and also a form of breadlines.

Besides, if Sander's policies are so flawed and capitalism is actually superior over socialism, then how come the 10 most happiest countries in the world have adopted all the same socialist policies that Sanders promotes?

Worlds happiest countries

The US with all its wealth and extreme from of capitalism, doesn't even make the top 10.

And every....single....one....of those countries.....are CAPITALIST

I'm absolutely fine with helping people who ned help. I'd much rather a few jerks sneak through the cracks than see anyone hungry.

Point is, and apparently I didn't make this clear enough, Sanders policies would cause ACTUAL breadlines, and communism always ends up with the people in power getting the food while the rest starve.

I think it's best to stick with the singular, scary fact that Congress would be in charge of the new legislation and bigger spending under a Bernie administration. And Congress cannot be trusted with those jobs.

Therefore, Bernie is not an option and cannot possibly help the poor.

If any Bernie fans would like to detail the persuasive successes resulting from our current social welfare system -- to defend our Congress' record -- please do go ahead. But last I read, the poor are getting poorer, growing, and becoming more dependent on government; the middle class is shrinking; and the wealthy are getting wealthier.

The facts say that our Congress really, really sucks at 'socialism.'

Nope. GOP believes (rightly) that communism causes bread lines and worse.

They have no operational data for that belief.

The world has never seen true communism. Russia? China? Cuba? None of those countries were/are really communist. It's disingenuous to claim that they were.

That's odd. The Catholic church down the road from me feeds the poor every Tuesday and Saturday with soups and bread rolls.

Does that mean Catholics support bread lines and Communism, or do they believe in helping those in need?

Context is key.

Ah, you're getting more and more creative with the straw man arguments every day, but more transparent in desperation.

Hint:
Stop trying to polish crap like commie loving Sanders. It's unsanitary for your mind.

And Sweden is getting literally raped by all the immigrants they let in. The numbers are staggering. Sweden is predicted to be a 3rd world country by 2030, LITERALLY.

Bernie wants to grant every Illegal Immigrant amnesty and make them citizens (his own words), by Executive Order.

He also wants free college and healthcare.

Question, where will all those NEW "Citizens" get education and healthcare?

Answer: Your colleges and hospitals.

the man is freaking INSANE

No, we're not fighting Catholics congregants any more than we're fighting Bern Feelers... the threat lies in putting their talking heads into positions of Constitutional authority. Some of the reasons Pope Francis would be unsuitable to be POTUS are the same reasons Bernie Sanders is unsuitable to be POTUS, and yes Virginia, socialist convictions are some of those reasons.

Oh that's right, the "Communism was never done correctly" mantra.

LMAO An oldie but goodie.

True communism is one step behind actual, academically defined anarchy. Under "true" anarchy no one owns personal property. Everything belongs to everyone under anarchy.

In REAL anarchy, property = slavery. You become a slave to the possessions of yourself and others.

Communism (real Communism) is a stepping stone to an anarchy utopia.

I had to praise your thread.

I've just been called every name in the book because I believe that Sanders admires communism.

Yay for socialism!

Only because it is disingenuous to presume textbook communism is possible to exist outside of a textbook. The human factor, which cannot be mitigated... laziness, self interests, personal work ethic, humanity itself all make pure communism an impossibility. Humans are not hive creatures... we have our own motivations and our own goals and to presume it is even possible to eliminate those to a degree where textbook communism can function is disingenuous.

Thus, we're left with only real world examples of communism and the laundry list of reasons it fails as a workable solution.

Would these countries still be so happy if the USA were not here globally? Honestly, most corporations and especially our military is billed big time to ensure that they can spend their $$$ on the refinements, while American citizens pick up the final tally of the bill!

Anarchy is retarded. Getting closer to it is a terrible idea. Keep going though, this is hysterical!

You do realize if there were anarchy I could beat you up and take your stuff right?
