How could you possibly try and twist that clip into something negative?

Such utterly sh*t logic: Sanders supports feeding the poor, therefore Sanders wants to make us all poor so we all wait in breadlines.

It does not follow.

When the Rich created the Rules for America they created them with themselves as being the ones in charge. Which it's a fact, Women weren't included and neither were Poor People or Slaves or Natives

To state the OBVIOUS.

The poor are in charge of NOTHING.

That's why the want people like Sanders elected, and they subscribe to the most ASININE political ideologies in recorded history. SOCIALISM.

To give them STUFF they supposedly can't get on their own.

When they can.

LAZINESS.

People desire socialism because, ideally, socialism takes care of you.

There are people who simply want to be taken care of.

There is a big difference between wanting to be "taken care of" and wanting an even playing field to take care of yourself. There is a big difference between being a profitable business that operates ethically and monopolies that have circumvented and /or re-written the laws of the land to stack the deck in their favor.

Frankly I think Oligarchy and Communism have way more in common then Socialism and Communism. Entrepreneurs aren't encouraged in Oligarchy or Communism. The TPP seeks to create what I would call "Corporate Communism" we all work for THEM, not even our own Countries will have sovereignty over global corporations anymore ! One thing I agree with Trump on is that the USA has negotiated BAD trade deals, ones that Bernie voted against and the Clinton's supported , btw.

Bernie is not trying to crush the American Spirit and put people in bread lines, he's trying to inspire people to stand up to the corruption we all talk about on ATS all the time, he's trying to shine the light on a rigged system that is utterly out of control. We all grow up with the understanding that our collective tax dollars are collected to maintain our infrastructure, fund community services and protect the Country, that in itself is a form of "Socialism" most agree is reasonable. HOW we are spending this money is the HEART of this issue...I think we have a much better chance to have a say in the future under a "Socialist Democracy" then we do under an Oligarchy or " Corporate Communism".

That's right. Finally we agree. If it's so obvious then why did it take so long for you to admit that??

But that is what I'm saying too roughly. They don't have any control over their lives or even the education, opportunity or mobility to change their position either. Even worse still is that those who are in charge are in charge of not just their own lives but refuse to allow for the poor to take any control of theirs. You think taking away education, or assistance for poor people is going to help them?? How does that makes sense??? You admit they are in charge of nothing. So how does taking more away from them going to help them???

That's why the want people like Sanders elected, and they subscribe to the most ASININE political ideologies in recorded history. SOCIALISM.

He's not offering them stuff. He's not giving them TV's or Cars or Spinning Rims. He's trying to offer them Education and Health Care. Those aren't things, those are opportunities for them to advance their lives. He's trying to teach them to fish but you keep saying he's giving them fish. Sanders is the only person who's fighting for what might improve society by creating a better society. How is giving the wealthy more wealth helping anyone?? They already have all the money they need and they can only buy so many things which also don't help. They don't need 4 more cars or a 3rd home compared to those same resources educating 1000 people or keeping them healthy.

To give them STUFF they supposedly can't get on their own.

When they can.

Really??? How can they since you even admit they are in charge of nothing!!! What are you supposed to get from Nothing Neo??? I'll tell you what, Nothing.

LAZINESS.

No. Laziness is having everything and blaming those who have nothing for the fact that they aren't productive. That is laziness. Too lazy to think rationally. If someone has all the power then they also have all the power to change things for the better. So if things continue to get worse who's fault is it??? Those with the power to change things but don't or those who have no power and can't even if they want to???

You said it yourself. It's obvious remember. The poor are in charge of Nothing.

Your absolutely right, but that's not what I'm talking about. Here's an example of what I'm talking about....Let's say you work your ass off, buy a small farm, manage to jump through all the necessary hoops and pay all the fees and taxes to operate your farm "legally". Your HAPPY, doing well, making a living and one day you get notified your being sued by Monsanto because their "seed" has been "found" on your farm......you lose your farm. Is this ok with you?

No.

But how is empowering government going to stop that from happening?

It's our Government that is selling out to companies like Monsanto that is allowing this to happen...that's the point !

Goodnight....I'm tired, I work very hard for a "lazy socialist" !

Communism creates breadlines and poor people as everything is owned by the state.

Catholicism serves breadlines because Jesus gave to the poor and the hungry...so

You're right context is key....but lets not blow it out of proportion. You have to read in between the lines.

Problem is when you go all "socialist" like Sanders you get breadlines because communism doesn't work. Then the poor start starving to death.

Where do you see people starving to death? Where do you see breadlines? Why don't you see that Sanders is wrong?

The problem is when you simplify different types and levels of socialism and consider them all "communism."

Um, people don't starve under capitalism?

Bernie is good for legalization but that's it, the idea that I should be forced to share my wealth THAT I worked for with people that didn't work as hard is insane and Bernie is being a really bad influence on young people with that nonsense.

You are already being forced to share your wealth, the question is how we should spend our collective wealth. I honestly don't understand the misplaced outrage at the poor...why aren't people outraged at who's really stealing and wasting our Nation's wealth. If people on food stamps have cable TV everyone lose's their minds.... but if a bank executive receives outrageous bonus's after failing so badly that WE had to bail them out for Trillions of dollars, we just shrug our shoulders and continue to vote for politicians that allowed this to happen and in many cases personally benefited.
abcnews.go.com...

My vote for Bernie Sanders is NOT about wanting to change America into a "Socialist" Country.....it's about maintaining the integrity of our " Democratic, Republic, Socialist Hybrid " that made America Great to begin with....I do not believe that cheating to become rich at the expense of others is Freedom !

It's not providing bread lines for the poor. You will have to read history of the bread lines in the old Soviet Union before their communist empire collapsed. The bread lines are for everyone to get goods because a government with centralized planning assumes control over the means of production and the supply/demand mechanism fails. They still have to pay for the stuff they are in line for and its a different line for each item.

No. We have no chance to benefit when Congress is spending money and with the lack of transparency, oversight, and accountability in government.

Period.

Forget about it. The more power and money Congress gets, the worse it is for taxpayers and citizens.

I don't think you understand me. They already have access to that money. It is what they choose to spend it on that concerns me. Subsidies for the large corporations, subsidies for their workers (as the wages are too low to survive without public assistance), endless wars, offshore accounts to avoid taxes, even on shore banking policies like that in Delaware where the wealthy get to avoid paying their fair share. Taxing the most wealthy at 13% while the rest of us pay at minimum 3 times that.

It does make a difference.

God forbid this country shows a little compassion for those in need. It's funny how the right wingers claim to be fighting for religion and religious liberties but can't find it in their hearts to feed the hungry. I doubt Jesus would be happy to see breadlines closed because of a fear of simpletons that this is a slippery slope to communism. Stop thumping the bible and please read it.

Friendly reminder Sanders is a democratic socialist who fights corruption.

Whatever. Democratic socialism is at the root of Fabian socialism -- the socialism of the Elite-elite.

The corrupt elite will profit so much (in power & money) when Congress spends money under a Bernie administration.

Bernie isn't about fighting corruption. He's about higher taxes. And even if those taxes come largely from the wealthy, the wealthy will still profit through government spending and make up any tax-losses many times over.

As long as Congress is in the picture, then a bigger spending plan is designed to steal from the poor & middle class and give to the rich.

What you are saying makes no sense. They already have the cash cow in the Military Industrial Complex. That cash cow is very effective in separating tax payers from their money. Why would they give up on the cash cow that is working to implement a cash cow that might work?

Bernie is against interventionism in most cases..so in effect he is trying to slay the cash cow called the military industrial complex but you claim that it is intentionally done by the people in power as ploy to get our cash (that they are already getting).

Am I not following you correctly here?

The people in power don't need anyone's money. They can just issue all the money they need out of nothing. It's how all money is created in the first. By banks, which just loan into existence with interest attached.
